Safety, trust & environment

I have two cats in my home, they're both harness/leash trained and I'm a regular scheduled walker for my 3 dog nephews. I like to remain calm when coming in a greeting dogs, especially ones new to this dynamic. I'm comfortable giving commands and learning new ones I might not use myself.

Information Hannah W. would like to know about your pet

Always let me know if your pets have any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. I have given medicine in the past, both pills and liquid meds being shot into the mouth/throat.

A typical day

Depending on the dogs needs, I have two main methods for our walks; business and leisure walks! The biggest difference being if your dog needs to be physically or mentally stimulated. I use a business walk for higher engery dogs; I focus on walking at a swift pace and minimizing distractions. My leisure walks are often for smaller or lower energy dogs, I like to focus on giving them time to smell, really just letting their nose point the way.

Cat lover & big dog enthusiast!

Pet care experience

I don't mind walking your furry friend in the rain! (Though I do hope they have a rain coat!) My goal is to leave your furry friend happy, healthy, and stimulated. It's important with many dog breeds that they remain stimulated throughout the day, or their curiousity may get the best of them. Everyone trains their dogs differently, which is why before I take your furry friend out for a walk I might ask what commands you use, in order to cut back on any confussion for the dog. I absolutely adore animals and have been around dogs nearly my whole life, as an advocate for animals, I only ever intend to shower your animals with love and affection. I'm so thankful for Hannah. My cat adored her and she took such great care of her. She also did a good deed for a lost pet she found by helping reunite them with their human.

Hannah was so helpful taking care of our 4 cats for a brief trip! She was very reliable, available at the requested time, and did all the tasks we asked of her. She was also patient with our one shy cat who preferred to just hide from Hannah when she visited. Thanks Hannah, I hope to use you in the future :)

You will not find a better sitter than Hannah! She took care of our large cane Corso, 2 cats (one of which has epilepsy), and hamster! She took pictures and gave us updates each day we were gone and we feel that we can trust her 100%. We love having Hannah take care of our fur babies!!
