Availability
My availability is open including weekends. I'm currently a student studying at the Karen Pryor Academy, and I also work with dogs (and other animals) full time. I’m studying for multiple certifications in the animal behavior field, and all of my classes are online, which means I can be available and flexible according to your pet's schedule. If I am out of your area, please contact me about your pet care needs; we might be able to work something out.

Safety, trust & environment
I know meeting a new walker/sitter can be scary for some dogs. The best way to gain their trust is to take an ethological approach, which means paying close attention to their body language and never pushing them past their comfort zone. Boosting their joy the main priority, so based on what they prefer our time will be filled with walks, toys, play-time, lots of pets and scritches, and treats! They will always get a fresh bowl of water!
Information Hannah U. would like to know about your pet
I want to care for your pet to the best of my ability. If they have little quirks I should be aware of - for example: shy about putting their harness on - then please let me know so we can take a slower approach to maintain trust.
A typical day
You can expect great pictures and videos! I love taking photos so you can see how much fun they are having, and what we are working on. I have a great pet-car which opens up our opportunities to visit parks in the area. Is your work schedule filled up? Book me for 2 or more hours if your dog needs lots of exercise and I'd love to take them out for a hike! I offer a $4/hour discount for booking consecutive hours.

Training focused walks and drop-ins
Pet care experience
I am a multi certified trainer, and I got my start here walking dogs through Rover! I still love meeting new dogs and helping them on their training journeys through walks. A good structured walk can go a long way in the home as well. If a couple of skilled extra hands can help get your dog the enrichment, exercise, and training they need, please reach out to chat about setting up a meet and greet! *I accept requests for dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, genders, temperaments, and behavior concerns.

Reviews

Hannah is amazing, has done a great job helping us with our little crazy cat when we’re gone

Hannah was great when watching Alan. He’s a more senior cat, so he needs a bit of extra attention in his daily routine and Hannah made sure he was a happy cat when we were away. I would highly recommend having Hannah watch your cat!
Hannah is an incredible Rover! She takes such care of our kitties!!

Hannah is extremely patient and kind. She was very caring to our super senior lab (he’s 16 and a half!) and unbelievably understanding of our other dog’s fear of human beings that aren’t us. Despite the challenges, she stopped in and doled out some scratchies and food and made sure they were doing ok. I appreciate Hannah big time! Highly recommend!
