I am a complete dog lover! I have loved dogs since the day I was born. My dog sitting days started when I was 16 years old and a family emergency came up and I had to watch my Aunt's two dogs (greyhound and Saluki). I have since pet sat for neighbors. I started volunteering at the local dog shelter being a dog walker, where I dealt with dog many types of dogs. I moved to Los Angeles 11 years ago and I have been walking/sitting dog. What skills qualify me for pet sitting? I have experience with pet sitting all kinds of animals. I take my job seriously and I am very attentive. I do not handle a dog I cannot control or do not feel comfortable with. That is not good for the dog or me, because the dog needs to be able to trust the person they are with. My schedule is very flexible. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover forever! Everyone that knows me knows that I am a dog lover. My best friend even said to me one day "Hannah you are the only person that I know that has a whole bunch of stories about dogs and doesn't even own." That has now changed, because I own to adorable dogs Butterscotch and Pumpkin. My experience administering medication If it is oral yes.

Hannah watched my pup over a weekend when I was out of town and she went above and beyond. Turns out my fur baby got sick while I was gone and Hannah very kindly took her to our vet and had her checked out. I’m forever grateful to her for taking time out of her day to do this. On top of that, my dog is hyper majority of the day and very needy, so I get a little nervous leaving her with anyone. Fortunately, I now know I can have Hannah watch her and I can take a weekend trip with peace of mind. Thank you Hannah!
The reason why I became a dog owner is because of Hannah T. When I saw the unbreakable bond that she developed with her fur babies, I knew I had to get a dog. She is a compassionate, attentive, and sensitive towards them. She is a true Dog Whisperer.
I have known Hannah for several years and am endlessly impressed with her ability to have one of the sweetest, best trained chihuahuas I have ever had the pleasure to meet. After fostering some puppies, Hannah expressed an interest in adopting one of them and it was a no brainer. Her new puppy Pumpkin is now loving her new home and is also well trained and happy. Could not recommend her enough for caring for pets as she is always calm, cool, collected, and on top of her animals needs.

Information Hannah T. would like to know about your pet
Before I meet a dog of course the first thing I want to know is if the dog is friendly are or not. Does the dog have any history of aggression? Are there any health concerns? Just the typical things. I have been around pitbulls before and I know they can be friendly, but this is a breed of dog that makes me nervous, so I would most likely not want to pet sit or walk a pit bull. I am open all other breeds.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog It all really does depend, but I try and spend most of my time with the dog. I would treat your dog as if it was my own. I would ask the owner how long the dog can be left alone. When I was pet sitting over Christmas, I was pet sitting at the owners house and my mom had come to visit. I split my time pet sitting with spending time with my mom. I would make sure the dog got good exercise before I left, so they would be asleep/tired while I was away and I made sure I wasn't gone more then 6 hours. Extra house-sitting services Yes, I am willing to other tasks while the family is away.
