I work remote Thursday and Friday, so am pretty flexible but morning, mid day, and evening work best on those days. Saturday and Sunday I am pretty open throughout the day I just need some notice to plan my weekend.

While walking dogs, I always keep on a leash and have them close by. I make sure not to interact with other dogs since they can react different when not with their owner. I talk to them and make sure they get attention and pets to make sure they are okay taking for a few hours. I have a 4 year old cat of my own that is very particular about everything so I know how to deal with cats that need specific care to make them feel safe and happy. I know cats can be lonely if left for a while so I make sure they get attention if they aren’t hiding. I always make sure the animals have enough water, and food if requested.

A typical day
I sometimes take dogs on different walking routes so they can get exposure to other areas and smell tons of new smells. I always talk to them through the walk and make sure they know they are a good boy/girl. My cat loves chasing balls or beanie babies so I always make sure we do that for a bit. He also needs lots of affection so we get cuddles and pets in for sure.

I grew up with multiple cats my whole life and currently have a feisty one of my own. Although I’ve never had a dog, I have always watched neighbors and friends dogs. Recently I’ve let friends dogs out or even stayed with them for a few days in times of need. Hoping to have a dog of my own when I have a bigger place.
