I’m a lifelong dog-lover. I grew up with boxers and have a soft spot for pit bulls, but I love all breeds. I managed a holistic dog and cat supply store (Hollywood Feed), and met and worked with a lot of dogs there. Due to my experience at that job I now know a lot about pet nutrition, as well as plenty of positive reinforcement training techniques. I like to stay active, but I also love to relax and cuddle -- a good balance of things that dogs like to do! I live with my spouse and our two cats, so I won’t be watching dogs overnight in my own home, but I can give your dog plenty of attention. Growing up, my family always had a dog, and I got my first dog as a puppy 10 years ago, but lost her to cancer in March of 2024. She was my beloved angel and my four-legged soul mate and I miss her terribly. We spent many happy years together though! I also have experience taking care of other's dogs and homes, playing with and caring for the dogs and keeping an eye on the house. I've watched a wide variety of dog breeds, everything from Chihuahuas to a friend's show Bernese Mountain Dog, and know that each and every dog has their unique personality and quirks.
