No one knows your pet better than you do. Detailed instructions help me keep your pet more comfortable by providing familiar routines and a sense of stability. Some things to include in your instructions: 1) Feeding Schedule (how many times a day & how much to feed) 2) What walking schedule is your pet used to? (how often do you walk your pet and where do you routinely go) 3) Is your pet allowed on the furniture and where do they sleep? (crates and pet beds are fine, but if they are allowed, don't be surprised to find them sleeping with me at night) 4) Please tell me what your pet's favorite toys and games are. 5) Do you give your baby treats? (what are they and when do you give them) 6) Is your pet on any medication? If so please give me clear instructions on what and when to give these medications. Things you should know about me: 1) I don't like to give your pet table scraps or human food, unless you're okay with it. (I know what foods are safe for pets). I will be honest, I give my own pet human foods like chicken and tuna, but I know my pet and I know what upsets his stomach and what is okay for him to eat. I don't know what you give your pet, if anything, and I would hate to give your baby something that would upset their tummy. 2) I prefer to walk your pets individually, especially larger breed dogs. There is only one of me and walking them one at a time is safer for both of us. I can give them my undivided attention and one-on-one time. 3) I prefer not to do "off leash play" in public places, away from your home. I'm sure your pet comes to you when called, but my voice is not the one that he is used to responding to. So outside of your home your pet will stay leashed at all times. However, in your backyard or home, it's a paw-ty with tons of games of fetch, tug-o-war and other stimulation and engagement for your pack. 4) You should know that I will love on, kiss on and dote on your pet. I will spoil them and they will be keeping me company on your couch and sleeping with me in the bed, if they are allowed. Cuddles, pets, play and praise are given freely and my stay will be all about loving your baby.

I take caring for your pet seriously and I strive to keep them happy and healthy while you're away. Feedings, exercise, treats and/or medications will be done on your pet's typical schedule, if at all possible. Every pet is different and each have their individual needs. Learning your baby's personality, is an awesome experience. That being said, every animal needs exercise, play, patience and love. It's important for their happiness and well-being. I love the outdoors and nature, so I will enjoy the fresh air and sunlight almost as much as your pet. Playtime is a must and provides great entertainment for both of us, so you can be sure there will be lots of that. Then we'll spend our evenings cuddling and winding down in a quiet place before everyone goes to bed, hopefully having sweet dreams about tomorrow. I can't wait to meet your family! (of course this includes your pets because let's face it, a family isn't complete without the joy that they bring)
