Show Them You Love Them!
I cannot express how much joy animals bring me, so be patient with me if this gets a little "wordy" LOL. Honestly, sometimes I feel like I relate better to animals than people. I've always had pets, I can't think of a time that I didn't. A lot of my family's pets were rescues, so I was taught early on that patience and kindness were an essential skill to develop trust. I was also "that kid" that brought home random strays, injured animals and lost pets. I'm sure it drove my family nuts, but they never complained because it made me happy. Loving and caring for animals is something I come by naturally. I have experience caring for lots of different animals and I've been so grateful for those opportunities. I've cared for dogs, cats and a variety of small animals (I have a lot of experience with ferrets and some experience with guinea pigs, rabbits, etc). I'm a quick study though, so I would love to learn about caring for other pets, such as birds, fish, chickens and other livestock. Before you hire me, I like to have a meet and greet with the guest of honor. I prefer to do this in your home, and I'd like to explain why. If we were to meet at a park, for example, your pet is excited (or even anxious) to be there. I need your pet focused on me and I want them as comfortable as possible in a safe space, like your home.

While you're away, I'll come to your residence to stay with your pet. Your pet is already stressed that you're not there. To take your pet away from the one stable and comfortable place it knows, is not something I am comfortable with and I don't want to cause your baby any extra anxiety so I choose not to board or watch your pet at my home. ** I have a car and insurance, and I am vaccinated against Covid, if that is something that is important to you. ** I do have a minimum of 2 nights for all jobs.

Hannah was great to have while we were away for 10 days! We got daily photos of our 2 dogs going for walks and hanging out with her. She was very responsive with any questions, the house was spotless when we got back and the dogs were in great moods. There was one issue with the house while we were gone and she was proactive in contacting our neighbor right away. We would definitely hire her again for our next vacation!
Hannah was excellent! She was punctual and left my home in great shape. She was present with my animals and provided updates daily. It’s very nice to be able to leave town and not worry about your home and your pets Thanks again!

Hannah was great with my Benny Boy! I was able to book her to stay with him on short notice and she sent adorable photos to ease my mind with his first “stranger” sitter. Definitely will book with Hannah again!
