I am student, which gives me some flexibility when it comes to my weekday schedule. Though I have to attend classes on campus throughout the week, I sometimes have a few hours free in between classes and tend to finish around noon on Wednesdays and Thursdays. No pet I would take care of would have to stay home alone for longer than a few hours and if you have any concerns, feel free to reach out, so I can let you know what my schedule looks like during the time you would need a sitter. On weekends, I can arrange to stay with your pet for the entirety of the visit.

I live in student halls, which unfortunately, does not allow pets. Therefore, I am unable to accept bookings for dog boarding and daycare. However, I am more than happy to look after your pet at your place if you are comfortable with that or pick them up for a walk. Please understand I won't unleash your dog unless I have taken care of them for a while and only with your permission. I own a long leash that I have often connected to whatever leash is provided by the owner to maximize the freedom of your dog and there are also some fenced areas at a park nearby where I am comfortable letting dogs roam freely. Please discuss any needs of yours or your pet and I will do my best to accommodate them.

Before taking in a dog I would appreciate some information on their character and training background, specifically anything your dog is struggling with, as that allows me to avoid certain situations and keep them safe whilst also maximizing the freedom I can give them. Please let me know about your pet's usual routine. I am hoping to make dogs feel comfortable during my time with them and adjust my routine to what your dog is used to. Whether that includes long walks in the morning, exercise in the evening, or a certain feeding schedule. Additionally, please enquire about any further arrangements you need, that would allow the visit to be stress-free for both you and your pet.
A typical day
When looking after pets, I do my best to follow the routine they are used to, whilst also letting them join me in my everyday activities. That could just mean sitting on the couch together, but I have also occasionally taken dogs into the city with me. In any case, I would discuss what both you and your pet are comfortable with before looking after them. In addition to spending time on walks outside, I am happy to entertain your pet with various games and activities. Additionally, for dogs used to more intensive exercise, I am happy to take them on runs.

Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs. My mum used to teach at a puppy school and with her guidance my family has cared for dogs of all ages. As I grew older I learned how to be more involved in caring for our dogs as I was occasionally in charge of walking, feeding and caring for them by myself and would assist my mother with vet visits and training aspects. To this day she remains someone I contact occasionally with questions when dog sitting and through her, I realized what an honor it is to be trusted with caring for someone's pet. Since starting university, I have been able to work as a dog sitter through Rover and looked after various pets, either for short-times when their families went to work or for longer periods when they went on holiday.

Stayed over night with our very wary dog Charlie took to hannah straight away. Sent plenty of photos of Charlie who seemed very happy and had plenty of snuggles. Will 100% use hannah again
Hannah is a genuine animal lover, especially dogs, as she grew up with them and her mum has taught her a lot about them. She is very friendly and reliable. Our dog Alfie has taken to Hannah straight away and I am very happy to leave my prescious Alfie in Hannah's care.
Hannah is amazing. She sent many pictures of Eevee and kept me informed. I would highly recommend and will be booking again
