Pet care experience

I am going to be your pets pal!

Hi, I’m Ellie! Growing up in North Carolina gave me a lifelong love for animals, and I’ve spent almost 10 years caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from playful pups to seniors needing extra care. What sets me apart is my focus on peace of mind and clear communication. I love walking, running, playing, cuddling and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I’m also inclusive and compassionate, non-ableist, and always respectful of boundaries. For me, treating both pets and people with kindness is what makes this work so rewarding.

Ellie has watched our cat several times now, and she is continuously reliable and wonderful! We had to leave for our trip during a boiled water advisory, and Ellie was so kind and accommodating to follow the recommendations once lifted, to ensure the water was flushed and clean for the cat to drink and for hand washing. Our cat loves Ellie’s visits because she gets lots of pets and attention! I highly recommend Ellie as your next pet sitter!!

This was the second time Ellie cared for our cat while we went away, and we would once again highly recommend her! She completed all care as requested and gave our social cat lots of pets and attention while we were away. Ellie is very communicative, responding quickly to messages and sending regular updates and photos. We really appreciated this!! We definitely will reach out to Ellie for future visits.

Ellie was a great dog sitter for our two girls! They immediately loved her when we did our initial meet and greet, so i knew they were in good hands. We even had an emergency vet appt right before she came and one of our pups had medicine she needed to give her twice a day. Without hesitation she took control and kept our babe healthy. She was communicative & incredibly sweet. Thank you again Ellie!

Hannah took wonderful care of our kitten and was always very responsive and attentive. We were nervous to leave a new pet behind, but Hannah eased all of our concerns and went above and beyond to care for our cat like her own. She was very knowledgeable and took initiative to solve any issue that came up. We are so grateful for Hannah’s care while we were away!!

I can tell you plain and simple, she’s always had a love for animals. Ever since she was little shes been the one to take in kittens and hand raise em when they didn’t have a mama. She’s just always had that bond with animals. When folks around here would go off on cruises or trips, they’d ask her to take care of their pets and she did it like it was second nature. They trusted her because she’s reliable, gentle and treats every animal like its her own. You won’t find anyone who cares more for animals than she does. I love my granddaughter

Schedule

I CAN ONLY DO HOUSE SITTING SERVICES FROM 6AM-6PM. IF NEEDED LATER/EARLIER I MUST STAY OVERNIGHT! My eyesight is bad and I cannot drive in the dark. Caring for animals has always been a central comfort in my life. Working with pets brings me joy, structure, and a sense of purpose, which is why I’ve chosen to pursue pet care full-time through Rover. • My schedule is very flexible! Allowing me to be available for walks, drop-ins, or extended care as needed if discussed! • As an autistic adult, I value clear communication and comfort in my routine, and I do my best to create the same sense of calm and consistency for the pets I care for. I want to be fully transparent: while very rare, there may be times I need to cancel a booking due to personal mental health needs or if a situation feels unsafe. In those cases, Rover's cancellation policy will ensure you're refunded appropriately. Furthermore I’m working to build strong, lasting friendships your fur-babies and you! I truly appreciate your patience and understanding as my client, thank you for considering hiring me despite my struggles. I bring compassion, reliability, and a deep love for animals fit for every client. If you’re looking for someone kind, attentive, and flexible I’d love the chance to work with you and your pups!
