I recently quit my job to spend two months volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary in South America, so I currently have all the time in the world for your pets, & I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend this period of free time than with animals.

I do my best to emulate your pet’s usual schedule in your home. If I need to leave for any period of time & can’t take your pup with me, I’d leave them however you normally do. My goal is to cause as little stress as possible so I do my best to stick to the routines they are already used to.

I prefer to take dogs to a nearby hiking trail for walks, but I'm also happy to take them along their usual route. Other activities are based on the dog's energy level, but I'm equally happy sitting and cuddling with mellow older dogs or taking younger high energy pups somewhere to play fetch and run around.

I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve been volunteering, fostering, & working professionally with dogs, reptiles, & other animals for 10+ years. I've yet to meet a pup that I haven't loved, and vice versa. I have a high energy dog of my own, and I have previously worked at a doggy daycare & a grooming salon, so I have tons of hands-on experience with every dog breed and temperament you can imagine. My time at the doggy daycare gave me insight into animal body language, so I feel very comfortable handling multiple pups at a time as well as anxious dogs or ones that require some extra care. Animals generally seem to be much more at ease in the comfort of their own homes, so my main service is in home sitting or drop-in visits. I am also comfortable handling caged animals & reptiles. I have worked in a pet store & taken care of everything from fish and hamsters to birds & snakes. I also have two snakes & a lizard of my own. I am happy to travel to housesit, so feel free to send a request no matter how far you may be. I am also a photographer & am happy to include a photo package in your sit if that’s something that would interest you!

Hannah is FANTASTIC and we would highly recommend! She spent the weekend taking care of our 2 dogs at our house. This was our first time using Rover.com (as we typically board our girls) and we would highly recommend! Hannah was great from the start, agreeing to a meet and greet and then taking excellent care of our girls. She would check-in and send pictures throughout the day. Our house was clean when we got home and more importantly, our girls were in great spirits (a definite change from boarding them). This was such a great experience and we would highly recommend Hannah!
Hannah was very responsive during the initial process. My dog loved her instantly! Hannah spent 15 minutes meeting the family, touring the house and listening to instructions. After that, she had everything handled. My dog was well cared for and I didn't have to worry a bit. It was a delight to work with Hannah!
I’m so grateful that we found Hannah. She was very responsive and a great communicator right from the start. She took care of our 5 pets ) all with their own high maintenance needs including medications) and our home and sent me photos and updates throughout the 9 day stay. Our house and pets were in great hands and seemed to be in better shape when we returned home then when we left them. I highly recommend Hannah.
I have never met anyone who cares more about dogs than Hannah. She will take meeting and playing with new dogs over almost anything. I have a hyper 3 year old German Shepherd and she seems to have no problem giving it the love an attention it needs while I’m gone. He’s not the easiest dog to walk either (trying to chase after almost anything) however she does a great job and I feel safe knowing she is walking him.
