A typical day
If your doggy likes to go on walks, I'll make sure to take them on walks daily! I like to make sure the dog enjoys their walk and not only exercise but takes the time to sniff and explore for mental stimulation. I have a bunch of dog toys and dog enrichment activities such as snuffle mats. If your dog likes to snuggle we can snuggle all day!

Dogs are a woman's best friend!
Pet care experience
Dogs truly are a woman’s best friend! I bring over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, including 3+ years working at dog care facilities and 7 years with my own senior pup. I've also spent many years caring for my sister’s and friends' dogs. After my dog passed early last year, I missed the companionship and joy of having a furry friend around, which led me to join Rover. Now, I’m excited to share that same love, care, and fun with other dogs! *please note that I will only accept 2 dogs for boarding if they live together or already know each other, for the safety of your pups :-) I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your fur baby in someone else's care, so I always prioritize making dogs feel at ease, comfortable, and at home. I keep them happily distracted with walks, enrichment games, and plenty of playtime. Plus, I make sure to keep you updated with top-notch communication so you always know how your dog is doing. A little about me: I work from home in tech, which gives me the flexibility to be available for your pets all day and night. Whether it’s drop-ins or overnight stays, my schedule allows me to accommodate your needs. I love spending time outdoors, enjoying nature, and going to the beach, so if your pup enjoys long walks or beach trips, I’ll gladly take them along! :) **I have tons of experience in senior dog care, medicine administration, contingency issues, behavioral issues, and all ages young and old. If your dog has any sort of special needs, please let me know!
Reviews

This was the first time I’ve let someone other than my normal sitter of 5 years watch my dog. I couldn’t have been more pleased with Hannah. She was great with communication prior to and during my time away. She sent plenty of updates and I could tell my pup was well taken care of. It was easy to trust her and I would recommend 10 out of 10 times.

Hannah was absolutely wonderful with Sully. She kept us updated the entire time and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. You can truly tell she loves dogs and genuinely knows how to care for them. She treated Sully like her own, with so much love and attention, and thanks to her we were able to relax and enjoy our time away without worrying. We would 100% book with Hannah again. She gave us the confidence and peace of mind that comes from leaving your dog with someone who is responsible, attentive, and truly cares about animals. Highly recommend!

Hannah is awesome! She gave us constant updates, responded quickly and our dog Cookie loved her time with her. Thanks!

I’m extremely disappointed with this experience and would not recommend her for pet sitting. When we first met, everything seemed fine—my dogs are usually very cautious with new people, but they warmed up to her quickly, which made me feel confident moving forward. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of this experience. Looking back, there were early red flags. In order to provide her with a parking permit for my building, I needed her vehicle registration. When I asked for it, she told me that she was “super duper late” and hadn’t paid it. Because of this, I was unable to get her a garage parking pass and had to instead give her access to my limited valet validations. In hindsight, this felt like an indication of her level of responsibility. From the very beginning of the stay, there were issues. It was clear she had not read the detailed instructions I left, as she repeatedly asked questions that were already clearly answered. I was on vacation and had specifically asked for updates—not constant basic questions that could have been avoided by simply reviewing the instructions. One major concern was communication regarding my dog’s health. She mentioned excessive accidents in the house but failed to tell me that one of my dogs had diarrhea. I had to repeatedly question her before she finally admitted it. This is extremely concerning—if a dog is having a potential health issue, that should be communicated immediately, not only after being directly asked. She also asked to access my locked master bedroom, despite being clearly told beforehand that she was only allowed in the guest room. This felt very inappropriate and uncomfortable. Through my dog-nanny camera in the living room (which was disclosed), I could see that my dogs were frequently crying and barking, and she was not engaging with them much at all. She appeared to be on her computer most of the time and left their harnesses on indoors 24/7 for no clear reason, which is not how they are normally cared for. The biggest issue came mid-stay. We had agreed (and paid) for overnight care from Monday–Saturday. On Thursday, she suddenly said she had an emergency tooth extraction and could no longer stay overnight, offering only drop-in visits instead. This is not what we agreed to. When I asked about a partial refund for the change in service, she refused and instead brought up that she had not charged a “puppy rate” for my 1y/o dog, something I never requested or was even made aware of. At that point, it felt strategic. It seemed like she intentionally chose not to charge the puppy rate upfront so she could later use it as justification to avoid refunding the difference when she changed the agreed-upon services. I was put in a very difficult position since I was out of town and still needed someone to care for my dogs, so I felt forced to agree to her switching to drop-in visits without a refund. When I returned home, the condition of my condo was unacceptable. The space was left significantly messier than when I left it. The bed was unmade, laundry was left unfinished in washer/dryer, trash was not taken out, cabinet doors were left open, dead flowers left sitting in water causing a smell, and blankets/ toys scattered everywhere. There was also a broken towel rack that she never mentioned, and a strange white sticky substance splattered across my front door and floor. It looked like she dropped something and it spilled everywhere and she just left it there without cleaning it up. Most concerning of all, my other dog—who I’ve had for six years—initially growled at me when I came home, as if she didn’t recognize me. This has never happened before and was extremely alarming. It made me feel like something may have happened during my absence that caused my dogs to become fearful, which is deeply upsetting. Despite all of this, she claimed she left the home “cleaner than she found it,” which is simply not true. Overall, this experience was stressful, unprofessional, and disappointing. I would not trust her to care for my pets or my home again.
