I am a teacher, so my summer schedule is wide open! Whatever the needs of you and your pets, chances are I can cater to them. I always make it a point to spend time with my dog or the dogs I’m dog sitting, whether that’s by playing with them, walking them, or just spending some extra time hanging out so they don’t feel lonely!

I care for pets by making sure I am patient with them, because it can often be a stressful change for owners to be gone. If an animal seems distressed, I do whatever I can to make them feel more comfortable with my presence and their environment.

If your pet has any heath needs, is injured, old, or has poor hearing or eyesight, please let me know. I have watched tons of dogs and cats who are anxious and typically a bit nervous around new people, so if that’s the case I like to know. Usually, they warm up to me but all pets are different :)
A typical day
No matter the kind of care I am providing, I will spend time with your pets by taking them on outside adventures and walks, running around the yard with them, and whatever else they love to do! While inside, I will pet and cuddle them and provide my full attention!

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up taking care of dogs, because my family has always had a dog in the house ever since I was one year-old. I also had a cat growing up, but don’t anymore because my brother was allergic. However, I can still take care of cats no problem! I have taken care of dogs of all kinds, sizes, and ages. I have one dog, Josie. Josie is a labradoodle who is 9 and very playful. I recently lost my dog Boomer who lived a grand and spoiled life for 17 years. He was blind in his later years and anxious from time to time. Because of this, I am very good with dogs who have any special needs, whether they are anxious, blind, deaf, injured, etc. I’ve housesat and dogsat for many families, some of which have had small dogs, puppies, or very elderly dogs. I’m also very good with pets who aren’t dogs, because my older brother has had snakes, geckos, chickens, guinea pigs, and turtles. I even have a pet hedgehog! That stated, I can cater to the needs of various creatures.

Hannah did daily walks with our 2 dogs while we were out of town for a week. I loved the messages, pictures and information on walk length and distance! My in laws, who stayed at our house said Hannah was punctual, personable and did a great job!
Hannah was wonderful and she takes the best pictures!
