Greetings and salutations fellow humans! I've been caring for animals as long as I can remember. I started volunteering at the East Valley Animal Shelter in Los Angeles, CA when I was 14 years old, and have been jumping around from organizations based off where I was living ever since. Professionally, I have been pet sitting since 2011, mostly serving specific areas in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. Now, living in Minneapolis, I'm finally ready to dedicate my time to bringing compassionate, upbeat, dependable care to all your furry friends. Do you have the weirdest dog with the goofiest personality? I want to meet them. Is your cat a literal demon, and also the most perfect angel? Great, let's set up a play date. I'm (mostly) fearless, resourceful, and never shy about asking questions, especially when it comes to the care and safety of your pets and your home. I've worked as an operations manager for a successful dog training company and learned a lot about behavior in that time. I also spent some time managing a successful legacy animal hospital right here in Minnesota, where I learned even more about animal welfare and healthcare. Most recently, I managed the very best team of animal advocates at a local pet supply store chain...alas, the corporate retail life was not for me. Animal care is currently my --full time job-- which means I have all the time in the world for your babies! Having been doing this on my own for about three years now, and I am impossibly grateful to my amazing clients who keep me moving forward. <3 With this being my full time gig, that does mean that a portion of most days include me being out of the home for dog walks and drop-ins. Typically pets are alone for no more than 5-6 hours (less than a typical work day), and as always, less time can be discussed when needed (fees may apply depending on how much care your sweet baby bean needs). I am comfortable administering meds, sticking to a strict diet, or running training drills/routines with your pets! Whatever you need, I'm here to help. What can I take off your plate today?

Hannah is a wonderful pet sitter! She is incredibly patient with our senior cats, who can range from friendly to skeptical to downright mean. Our grumpy old man cat requires medication, and she has been incredible in working with us to acclimate him to a new person so he can be monitored and medicated while we are gone. We so appreciate your time and patience with our pets!

Hannah is the sweetest, most thoughtful cat-sitter! Morty loves her so much. Anytime I go out of town whether short or long-term, Hannah is who I call to love on my big baby man!
Hannah went above and beyond for my little dude!! I left town for a month and Hannah watched him for three weeks while I was gone. He loved Hannah! Hannah was super helpful and took great care of him, even consulting with me on some ways to help out his hairballs. Hannah was a trooper and prioritized Morty's health and well-being even when the power went out at my building for a day during a heat wave. Hannah is communicative, caring, and great at what she does! I look forward to having her sit for Morton Salts again the next time I have to go out of town.
Hannah is truly the best! She’s watched our dogs many times but this recent weekend was a little crazy with one of our dogs have tummy problems and then a tornado warning in the middle of the night and power going out. Hannah kept our dogs safe, kept us updated and even got us ice so we didn’t lose all our food. Endlessly thankful for her!
Hannah was very loving and attentive to our grouchy kitty. Great communication; she kept us up to date on everything our cat was doing. I would definitely use Hannah for house sitting and pet care again. A+++

After recently dipping my toes back into corporate America, I am currently focusing my time and energy onto animal care, so I have all the time in the world to meet with you and learn more about your needs and how I might fit into your pet's world.

Safety, trust & environment
I would be more than happy to provide thoughtful references for all care provided in client's homes. I am respectful, careful, and try to treat any space I occupy with the consideration I would in my own home. While cats are not currently an option to stay in my home, my beautiful, calm sweet dog Herman loves having friends over (see also: couldn't care less) and would love to snuggle with your pup. *Note: While I’m sure he would love to, Herman does not accompany me on pet sitting jobs. I have a wonderful partner who holds down the fort at home with our pets while I’m away. Upon request, I’m happy to bring Herm over for an hour during my stay for socialization purposes, but otherwise my time is for your pets. :)

A typical day
A typical day with me is packed with fun and/or routine! Whether your pet has a strict diet/exercise/medication schedule or is a puppy needing socialization and enrichment, I can handle it! Mornings always start off with potty breaks and some light play/training before breakfast time. After breakfast walks and/or outdoor play are next to help digest all that delicious grub! After we're nice and tired after being fed and played with, on certain days, I will head out for a few hours of dog walking or pet drop-ins before I get back to your home. We'll hang out in the early afternoon, working on some training or just lazing about depending on your pups energy level, and later we'll always go out for more play or a special outing to a park (only with owner permission of course, and only for pups who know me well). Sometimes either right before or right after dinner and post-dinner activities, I will go out for another small set of drop-ins while your pets settle in for the evening. When I return home, our nighttime routine is completed and off to bed. <3 I am more than happy to bring dogs to places they have been with their owners. I never take your dog somewhere unfamiliar without your specific permission; I want you to always know where your babies are. Things I love doing with animals: training (specifically basic commands and leash training), enrichment (ask me about lick bowls/mats for your pup while you're away!), socializing with my beautifully dog-neutral pup Herman (great for puppies or shy dogs who need a calm intro), playing fetch, getting a good game of tug in with a favorite toy, and generally just giving your pets all the love I give my own.
