Growing up, I always had several dogs in my home, and have even adopted two of my own. Over the years I’ve gained a lot of experience working with hundreds of animals with a wide range of breeds and pets of all ages and sizes. I have experience taking care of dogs anywhere from feeding to walking to playing (etc) for any age range and any size. As mentioned in the title, I have experience working at Birmingham’s local Humane Society and in that time learned a lot about animal behavior. This will help me ensure an animal’s comfort level, safety and trust during my time caring for them. I believe the key to taking care of animals is showing them genuine love and patience. I love animals and do this work to make some money on the side, but also because it brings me so much joy! All pets are considered family, so it’s guaranteed to treat them as such. Your pet’s happiness and safety are top priority so I aim to create a fun and stress free environment for everyone.

Hannah was a fantastic sitter! This was our first time using Rover and the first time we left our dog in the care of someone else, but everything went very well. I had to attend a wedding and would be out of the house pretty much all day. Hannah even offered to show up a little ahead of when I needed her. She was very friendly and personable, and right off the bat, our dog was comfortable with her. When I came back late in the evening, it was clear that he enjoyed spending the day with Hannah. We were grateful for her help and will definitely be calling her again when we need a sitter!

During my stay at a client’s home, I will be able to cater to the pet’s regular routine. I also am comfortable and experienced giving dogs medication if they are on a vet prescribed medicine. I am happy to discuss any needs of the household and go over any expectations of my tile in your space.

I really enjoy being active and adventurous with pets whether that’s exploring local parks or simply playing in the backyard. I know how important it is to mentally and physically engage with animals so that will a big part of our every day routine together.
