Starting at around 8 years old, I would walk my neighbor’s boxer, Milo, usually 1-3 times per week. I grew a love for dogs and even convinced my parents for us to adopt a pup of our own! Honey is 16 now, and though she was shy at first, with proper love and attention she became a trusted family member. Milo passed a few years ago, and I took care of him up until the end, often giving him his medication disguised in his meals and treats and ensuring his comfort by wiping his jowels, eyes, and massaging his tummy. I am very gentle, patient, and responsible.
