Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I want your pet cared for, your home respected, and you fully in the loop while you’re away. HOUSE SITTING: I respect house rules, stay out of off-limit areas, and clean up after both myself and your pets. I do a quick video walkthrough when arriving and leaving so there’s a clear record of the home’s condition, existing pet damage, accidents, messes, etc. I’m happy to either send those videos or delete them upon request after the booking for extra peace of mind. I typically send daily updates at the end of each day with how your pet ate, their energy levels, behavior, anything notable, and how things are going overall. If you prefer more or fewer updates, just let me know beforehand. Before leaving the home, I double-check doors, gates, leashes, harnesses, water bowls, food, medication, trash, and anything curious pets could get into. WALKS: Safety always comes first. I do not allow on-leash greetings with unfamiliar dogs during walks, even if your dog is normally friendly. Dogs can act differently away from their owners, and I’d rather prevent a risky situation than assume every interaction will go perfectly. During the Vegas heat, I avoid long midday walks due to hot pavement and overheating risks. I prefer harnesses for dogs that pull, though collars are fine if that’s what your pet normally uses. I also carry a pet deterrent spray and a backup leash as extra safety precautions. DROP-INS: During drop-ins, I make sure doors are securely locked, pets have fresh food and water, and there’s nothing unsafe left within reach. I also pay attention to behavior, energy levels, appetite, stress, and overall demeanor instead of just completing the visit and leaving. I’m very transparent with updates. If something unusual happens, whether it’s an accident, upset stomach, behavior change, escape attempt, new damage, or walk issue, I’ll always communicate it clearly!

Information Hannah P. would like to know about your pet

GENERAL: Please let me know about any medical conditions, allergies, medications, mobility concerns, feeding instructions, fear/anxiety, aggression, leash reactivity, escape tendencies, separation anxiety, resource guarding, or behavioral triggers beforehand so I can safely prepare for your pet’s care. If medication is required, please be clear about the type, timing, and how strict the schedule is. Please also let me know about any household rules, off-limit areas, alarm systems, camera locations, or routines you would like followed, as well as your preferred level of communication while you’re away. HOUSE SITTING: Please note: I work weekdays from approximately 6:30 am to 3 pm, so pets booked for house sitting must be comfortable being left alone during that timeframe. I typically offer a complimentary 30-minute walk for each dog in the morning and evening during house-sitting bookings. If your dog is especially high-energy or requires additional exercise or stimulation beyond that, please let me know beforehand. Please also let me know if you prefer your dogs to remain on the property instead of going on neighborhood walks. Please tell me about your pet’s normal routine, sleeping arrangements, barking habits, potty schedule, nighttime habits, separation anxiety, and anything else that helps keep things feeling normal while you’re away. I do require a private room with a door during overnight bookings due to back issues. Guest rooms, office setups, or bedrooms are completely fine if permitted, but I’m not able to sleep on couches long-term. DOG WALKING: How does your dog typically behave on leash around other dogs walking by? How does your dog react to strangers, loud vehicles, runners, bikes, skateboards, scooters, etc.? Please let me know if there are any commands, routines, training expectations, or preferred walking equipment you would like followed. I always offer a water break during longer walks. Please let me know beforehand if your dog should avoid drinking water mid-walk due to stomach sensitivity, overdrinking, or any other concerns. Please note: during Vegas heat, I do not do full walks between approximately 10 am and 6 pm. During hotter parts of the day, outdoor time is usually limited to shorter potty/sniff breaks for safety. DROP INS: What would you like included during drop-ins? Feeding, potty breaks, medications, litter box cleaning, enrichment/playtime, short walks, etc. Please also let me know if your pet is shy with new people entering the home, has escape habits, or has anything in the home I should be especially mindful of during visits. CAT SPECIFIC: What is your cat’s personality typically like with new people? Do they enjoy interaction, prefer space, hide initially, or have any behaviors/triggers I should know about? Does your cat have a specific feeding schedule or customized diet? If so, please leave detailed instructions for portions, supplements, toppers, vegetables, eggs, medications, or anything else added to their meals. If your cat has outdoor access, please let me know what that routine normally looks like so we can discuss the safest approach together. HOTEL HOUSE-SITTING: I offer hotel pet sitting for visitors whose dogs cannot be left alone in the room while they attend dinner, shows, events, or nightlife. Hotel bookings are priced separately from standard house sitting because they include Vegas traffic, parking garages, hotel access, late-night scheduling, and one-on-one care in a hotel setting. My hotel babysitting rate starts at $110 for 1-4 hours and includes parking/travel costs on my end. Pricing may vary depending on the length of care needed, so please message me the hotel name, timing, and access details before booking so I can adjust the Rover booking correctly.

A typical day

A typical day depends on your pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level. I try to keep things feeling as normal and low-stress as possible while you’re away instead of forcing every pet into the same schedule. For hotel bookings, I can keep your pup comfortable in the room, provide potty breaks, feed them their meal, offer enrichment/playtime, and with owner permission, take them on walks around the hotel area. I always keep walks cautious, avoid unfamiliar dog interactions, and use Rover’s GPS tracking anytime we go outside. My weekday work schedule is typically 6:30am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Outside of that, my schedule depends on other booked visits, but whenever I have extra time, I love giving pets extra attention, enrichment, and care when possible. For dogs, visits usually start with potty breaks, fresh water, feeding, medications if needed, and then care based on what your dog enjoys most. Some dogs want structured walks, some want fetch or enrichment, some want training reinforcement, and some just want someone nearby so they don’t feel alone. I’ve also cared for dogs who needed full bedtime routines and to be tucked in before settling down for the night. For cats, I let them set the pace. Some cats want playtime, some want a quiet companion nearby, and some are too nervous to come out at first. I’ve set aside time just sitting nearby and talking softly so shy cats could slowly get comfortable without pressure. I bring complimentary treats unless your pet has dietary restrictions. For dogs, I bring owner-approved dog treats when allowed, and for cats I bring Churu treats. I usually offer one during each visit as a little trust-builder and positive association. I’m typically finished with visits around 9pm. I do offer late-night walks and drop-ins with a $15 late night add on due to my early morning schedule.

Routine-Focused, Trust-Built Care

Pet care experience

Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around big dogs, small dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals, so adjusting to different personalities, energy levels, and care styles has always come naturally to me. Whether I’m house sitting, doing drop-ins, or taking dogs on walks, my goal is to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal and low-stress as possible. I pay attention to how your pet already functions in their home environment and follow that structure as closely as I can. Over the years, I’ve worked with senior pets, anxious pets, reactive dogs, leash pullers, escape artists, food-aggressive pets, high-energy dogs, stubborn personalities, shy cats, vocal dogs, and animals that simply need extra patience and awareness. Every animal has different boundaries, and I think learning those boundaries early is one of the most important parts of good care. I’m also comfortable with medical care and detailed feeding instructions. I’ve cared for pets needing pills, liquid medication, supplements, slow feeders, food toppers, enrichment feeding, and customized meal prep routines. I do not currently offer services for those who need injections. During meet & greets, I usually like owners to demonstrate their normal medication or feeding process first so I can follow the method their pet already knows. For walks, I’m very aware of leash behavior, overstimulation, heat safety, and body language around other animals. For drop-ins, I focus on behavior and overall demeanor, not just completing tasks. I also offer hotel pet care for visitors staying on or near the Strip, especially for pets who do better with one-on-one care than daycare or boarding. Some dogs feel safest staying right where their owners left them, so I’m happy to keep them comfortable in the room with calm company, cuddles, playtime, enrichment, potty breaks, and their normal routine. For higher-energy pups, I can also provide walks around the hotel/property area with owner permission to help them settle before you return. As a Vegas local, I’m mindful of busy areas, avoid unfamiliar dog interactions, and use Rover GPS tracking anytime we go outside for extra peace of mind. I do not offer boarding or doggy daycare in my home because I have a cat of my own. She fully believes she runs the household and can bully everyone around her with zero consequences. I don’t know who raised her. She’s adopted!

I had a last-minute work trip come up and Hannah was more than willing to help care for my two dogs while I was gone for 36 hours. She was trustworthy, sent many pictures, and gave me a full summary of each visit. 10/10 would book again! Thanks!

Hannah took excellent care of my dog Bentley while I was gone on vacation. She went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend her to take care of your animal needs. I hope to be able to use her again.
