GENERAL: Please let me know about any medical conditions, allergies, medications, mobility concerns, feeding instructions, fear/anxiety, aggression, leash reactivity, escape tendencies, separation anxiety, resource guarding, or behavioral triggers beforehand so I can safely prepare for your pet’s care. If medication is required, please be clear about the type, timing, and how strict the schedule is. Please also let me know about any household rules, off-limit areas, alarm systems, camera locations, or routines you would like followed, as well as your preferred level of communication while you’re away. HOUSE SITTING: Please note: I work weekdays from approximately 6:30 am to 3 pm, so pets booked for house sitting must be comfortable being left alone during that timeframe. I typically offer a complimentary 30-minute walk for each dog in the morning and evening during house-sitting bookings. If your dog is especially high-energy or requires additional exercise or stimulation beyond that, please let me know beforehand. Please also let me know if you prefer your dogs to remain on the property instead of going on neighborhood walks. Please tell me about your pet’s normal routine, sleeping arrangements, barking habits, potty schedule, nighttime habits, separation anxiety, and anything else that helps keep things feeling normal while you’re away. I do require a private room with a door during overnight bookings due to back issues. Guest rooms, office setups, or bedrooms are completely fine if permitted, but I’m not able to sleep on couches long-term. DOG WALKING: How does your dog typically behave on leash around other dogs walking by? How does your dog react to strangers, loud vehicles, runners, bikes, skateboards, scooters, etc.? Please let me know if there are any commands, routines, training expectations, or preferred walking equipment you would like followed. I always offer a water break during longer walks. Please let me know beforehand if your dog should avoid drinking water mid-walk due to stomach sensitivity, overdrinking, or any other concerns. Please note: during Vegas heat, I do not do full walks between approximately 10 am and 6 pm. During hotter parts of the day, outdoor time is usually limited to shorter potty/sniff breaks for safety. DROP INS: What would you like included during drop-ins? Feeding, potty breaks, medications, litter box cleaning, enrichment/playtime, short walks, etc. Please also let me know if your pet is shy with new people entering the home, has escape habits, or has anything in the home I should be especially mindful of during visits. CAT SPECIFIC: What is your cat’s personality typically like with new people? Do they enjoy interaction, prefer space, hide initially, or have any behaviors/triggers I should know about? Does your cat have a specific feeding schedule or customized diet? If so, please leave detailed instructions for portions, supplements, toppers, vegetables, eggs, medications, or anything else added to their meals. If your cat has outdoor access, please let me know what that routine normally looks like so we can discuss the safest approach together. HOTEL HOUSE-SITTING: I offer hotel pet sitting for visitors whose dogs cannot be left alone in the room while they attend dinner, shows, events, or nightlife. Hotel bookings are priced separately from standard house sitting because they include Vegas traffic, parking garages, hotel access, late-night scheduling, and one-on-one care in a hotel setting. My hotel babysitting rate starts at $110 for 1-4 hours and includes parking/travel costs on my end. Pricing may vary depending on the length of care needed, so please message me the hotel name, timing, and access details before booking so I can adjust the Rover booking correctly.

A typical day depends on your pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level. I try to keep things feeling as normal and low-stress as possible while you’re away instead of forcing every pet into the same schedule. For hotel bookings, I can keep your pup comfortable in the room, provide potty breaks, feed them their meal, offer enrichment/playtime, and with owner permission, take them on walks around the hotel area. I always keep walks cautious, avoid unfamiliar dog interactions, and use Rover’s GPS tracking anytime we go outside. My weekday work schedule is typically 6:30am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Outside of that, my schedule depends on other booked visits, but whenever I have extra time, I love giving pets extra attention, enrichment, and care when possible. For dogs, visits usually start with potty breaks, fresh water, feeding, medications if needed, and then care based on what your dog enjoys most. Some dogs want structured walks, some want fetch or enrichment, some want training reinforcement, and some just want someone nearby so they don’t feel alone. I’ve also cared for dogs who needed full bedtime routines and to be tucked in before settling down for the night. For cats, I let them set the pace. Some cats want playtime, some want a quiet companion nearby, and some are too nervous to come out at first. I’ve set aside time just sitting nearby and talking softly so shy cats could slowly get comfortable without pressure. I bring complimentary treats unless your pet has dietary restrictions. For dogs, I bring owner-approved dog treats when allowed, and for cats I bring Churu treats. I usually offer one during each visit as a little trust-builder and positive association. I’m typically finished with visits around 9pm. I do offer late-night walks and drop-ins with a $15 late night add on due to my early morning schedule.
