I currently work a variable self-schedule, so I can likely plan around you and your pet’s schedule! I am available Friday-Sunday every OTHER weekend for all my services, including overnight pet sitting. During the week, depending on my schedule, I may be available all day, anytime before 11 am, or anytime after 3 pm. Please reach out with any questions, and I will happily work with you on finding a consistent schedule!

For pet-sitting, I do all services in YOUR home for your pet’s optimal comfort. I believe in remaining present with your pet at all times, so they will always have my attention. I can crate them if that is part of their routine, otherwise I am comfortable with them being out and near me in your home or leashed/fenced outside. The most important thing to me is maintaining your pet’s daily structure and routine. So, I will feed, walk, and administer any medications according to what they are used to. I generally do potty breaks every 2-4 hours depending on the pet. For dog walking and “doggie day outs,” I use a positive reinforcement approach. This includes treats and praise when your pet completes behaviors that we want to maintain, such as sitting still, not jumping on people, or not pulling on the leash. Again, I will use any materials that your pet is used to, like their own leash, harness, and collar.
Information Hannah O. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there is anything I need to know ahead of time! I am happy to administer any medications or use any special equipment your pet may require, I just appreciate a heads up. I love to work with any breed or age, but I am partial to puppies, high energy breeds, and seniors. Let me know if your dog falls into these categories, and I will come prepared as such with fun activities planned!
A typical day
I love to provide both routine/structure as well as fun and stimulation! When I watch your pets, we will explore new smells in the neighborhood or the park, play with toys or new enrichment activities, and maybe even go on a car ride if they enjoy that! Additionally, on walks I like to work on basic reinforcement training to provide structure and instill good behaviors such as no leash-pulling and respecting boundaries of new people and dogs. After our exercise (both physical and mental) for the day, we will hang out together in the house, where they will get PLENTY of cuddles, pets, and love from yours truly.

Your Pet’s New Best Friend
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Hannah! I have been an animal lover my whole life and have even been lucky enough to turn it into a career. I feel such a special connection with all animals, especially dogs and cats. My family has had dogs my whole life, and I have always been the primary caretaker for them. In my high school and college years, I worked as a supervisor for a local cat/doggie daycare and boarding facility for 6 years. Currently, I work as an adoption counselor at Homeward Animal Shelter in Fargo, ND. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I am also trained to use prong, starmark, and e-collars if needed. I also am comfortable and experienced administering any medications your pet may take, including insulin, oral medications, and transdermal medications. I utilize positive reinforcement training to instill and maintain good behaviors in your pets. That being said, I also am very familiar and experienced with management of reactivity (to people, other dogs, leash/barriers) and aggression. Lastly, I am also trained in basic animal first aid if ever necessary. I offer dog walking, potty breaks/drop-in visits, overnight pet sitting, and even a “doggie day out” / individual daycare program. Let it be known that I do have a HUGE soft spot for the care of puppies and our sweet senior pups :) At the end of every session, I will provide you with a complimentary set of photos from all your pet’s adventures! Woof you later, Hannah🐾

Buckley, our 130 pound Great Pyrenees loves Hannah!

Hannah put our mind at ease while we went on our first long vacation without Myah. She also braved the cold weather (negative degrees) to make our husky happy. I appreciated the updates and pictures provided throughout her stay. Looked like Myah was comfortable and had fun! Highly recommend Hannah! Super nice, trustworthy and caring person.

Hannah took great care of our girl. Highly recommend!
I would trust Hannah with my four dogs and three cats any day! She worked for us at the Canine Country Club most of her high school and college years. She quickly became a supervisor and was in charge of many animals and coworkers. She was such an asset and we were so sad when she moved away. She really has a passion for animals. I highly recommend Hannah as her work ethic is one you don’t see often. She’s always there, always on time, always ready to work and always with a good attitude. Another reason why you should choose her is that when a tough situation would arise she remained calm and handle the situation perfectly. can guarantee your dog will be safe and happy and they will love Hannah as much as we do.
