Highlights
Pet care experience
Caring for your pets like family!
I’m a third-year veterinary technology student at Murray State. I have 4 years of hands-on experience working at a dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility in Indianapolis. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities, gaining experience with feeding, exercise, playgroups, basic grooming, and safe handling. I currently work at the facility seasonally when I return home to Indianapolis. I also have experience caring for cats and horses. I have my own cat, live with a roommate who has a cat and two horses, and over the summer I gained hands-on experience interning with horse rehabilitation. Through my veterinary technology education and hands-on animal care experience, I’ve developed a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and overall well-being. I truly love working with animals and take pride in providing safe, attentive, and individualized care for every pet.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I take the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet very seriously. As a third-year veterinary technician student and someone with 4 years of experience working at a dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility, I’m comfortable recognizing different behaviors, handling animals safely, and paying attention to changes in their health or routine. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets are in a clean, secure, and comfortable environment. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while they’re in my care.
Ratings and reviews
Hannah loves animals, and they love her right back! She is kind, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive to their care, always making sure to follow their routines and schedules. Hannah has cared for our cat many times, and she has been wonderful with him. He can be a challenge because he needs daily medication and doesn’t always allow just anyone to pill him. Hannah has patiently earned his trust and is able to give him his medication with confidence and care. She also goes above and beyond by keeping his food area clean and making sure his litter box is well maintained. Hannah is responsible, trustworthy, and clearly very experienced with animals. We feel completely comfortable having her care for our pet and highly recommend her!

Schedule
My schedule as a student-athlete at Murray State is structured, which allows me to plan my pet-care responsibilities around my classes and track practices. I have morning practices and some afternoon practices throughout the week, with classes primarily in the middle of the day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I don’t have classes on Tuesdays or Thursdays, giving me more flexibility to provide longer visits and more consistent care on those days. I’m very responsible with my time and would make sure each pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they need while fitting their routine into my schedule.
