I've had a dog since I was 9 that I have helped to take care of. My neighbors have relied on me to care for their dogs over the years, including feeding, walking, and bathing. I am now going into my 4th year at UMass Amherst for animal science. During lectures and lab, we learned everything and anything about taking care of any kind of dog or cat.

Schedule
I am currently working part-time at the UMass Hadley Barn. My shifts vary each week; some days I have three shifts, and other days I have only 1. The shifts are usually no longer than 2-3 hours long. But if I know I have a pet to take care of, I can get out earlier to tend to their needs!

A typical day
I live in downtown Amherst, right next to my university where there’s plenty sidewalks and woods for a nice walk! And if you’re comfortable, There’s also The Amherst Dog Park and Northampton Dog Walking Park near by I can take them to, where your pup can run and play their heart out!
