Qualified Veterinary Nurse

Hi, I'm Hannah! 👋 I'm a qualified Veterinary Nurse with a genuine, lifelong love for animals 🐾 — for me this is more than a job, it's what I love doing. I grew up in Perth, Australia 🇦🇺 with a Golden Retriever, so I know exactly what it's like trusting someone else with a much-loved family pet, I treat every animal in my care the way I'd want mine treated ❤️ I've spent over three years as a Veterinary Nurse in busy small animal practices, caring for hundreds of patients through surgery recovery, illness and everyday health needs. I'm trained in medication administration, wound care, and spotting early signs of illness or distress, skills most sitters simply don't have 💊 I've also fostered neonatal and medically compromised kittens 🐱, hand-rearing them from just four weeks old and nursing a few through cat flu and pneumonia. Some of the most rewarding work I've ever done. Whether your pet has medical needs, is recovering from a procedure, or just needs a bit of extra love while you're away, I'll care for them like my own - attentive, gentle, and confident following your instructions exactly 🏡

Safety, trust & environment

As I care for pets in their own home rather than mine, your pet's routine, environment and comfort stay exactly as they know it. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, medication and daily habits, and my veterinary nursing background means I'm attentive to any changes in your pet's normal behaviour. I treat every home and pet with the same care and professionalism I bring to clinical practice.

Hannah is genuinely the most caring person when it comes to animals! She looked after my cavoodle for 1 week and did an amazing job. She’s very well educated and will always go above and beyond to ensure your pet receives the best care and love. I’d allow hannah to look after my dog at any opportunity!

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Hannah took such wonderful care of our golden retriever. From the regular walks, adventures and playtime to all the little extra touches, it was clear how much love and attention she gave her. While we were away for long periods, knowing that our golden retriever was being cared for by a veterinary nurse gave us an extra level of reassurance and complete peace of mind. We knew she was in incredibly capable, caring hands and that she was closely attentive to her the whole time. We came home to a happy, relaxed, and very well-cared-for dog. We’re incredibly grateful for the care, kindness and wonderful adventures Hannah provided, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic, trustworthy dog sitter!

Hannah was the most amazing carer for our 3-year-old Groodle, Charlie, while we were away on a family holiday. She went above and beyond to make sure Charlie was happy, well cared for and, most importantly, showered with love 🥰 while his family were away. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hannah. She is caring, attentive and genuinely loves animals, and we know she will give your pet all the love, care and attention they deserve. 🐾🐾

Schedule

I work part-time as a Veterinary Nurse, with my rota confirmed well in advance, so I can plan around my shifts with plenty of notice. I offer care exclusively in your home, so your pet stays in their own familiar environment — no unsettling car journeys or unfamiliar surroundings, which is especially reassuring for anxious pets or those with medical needs.

Please let me know about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or behavioural quirks in advance so I can care for your pet properly and safely — my clinical background means I'm comfortable with medication schedules. I'm also happy to accommodate older pets, anxious pets, or those needing a gentler touch. The more detail you can give me about your pet's normal routine and personality, the better I can make sure they feel safe and comfortable in my care.
