I’ve been working with dogs professionally since my first job at 16, dedicating my entire working life to their care and wellbeing. I have spent 3 years working full time at one of Ottawa’s largest Pet-Resorts - Attending to pets of all sizes, breeds and maturities for long periods of time and providing: outdoor & indoor exercise, feeding & preparing all types of diets, giving oral & other medicine required, bathing, grooming, training & handling canines with behavioural problems and aggressive tendencies, keeping anxious animals comforted and calm, nail clipping, attending to wounds, disinfecting & cleaning the facility, keeping pets hydrated, customer service & customer reassurance, supervising groups of up to 40 dogs off leash in an outdoor play yard setting, preventing and intervening in dog fights, assisting the kennel’s Veterinarian in emergencies, administering Insulin to diabetic dogs and cats, caring for the kennels most aggressive dogs, handling leash aggression, cage aggression, dog aggression and stranger aggression. K9 photography - for company social media, daily & holidays. I have also been Pet Sitting for my Neighbours since I was young.
