Hi! I’m a reliable, experienced pet sitter offering in-home house sitting in the Greater Portland area, so your pets can stay relaxed in the comfort of their own home and routine. I’m an elementary school teacher during the year, which means I bring a lot of patience, responsibility, and attentiveness into how I care for animals. During the summer, I have a much more flexible schedule and greater daytime availability, making it a great time for extended stays, vacations, and more involved care. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and started pet sitting regularly in college. I’ve since cared for a wide range of pets—including senior animals, rescues, and pets with special needs. I’m comfortable administering medication, supporting mobility, and giving extra attention to animals who need a little more care. I know many pets in this area are active and used to lots of stimulation—whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just staying engaged throughout the day. I have plenty of patience for high-energy dogs and playful cats, and I make sure they get the attention and structure they’re used to. I also have a lot of experience with rescue animals and pets with anxiety, so I focus on building trust and helping them feel safe, especially while their owners are away. I’m happy to stay overnight or for extended trips, whether you’re heading out of town for a weekend, vacation, or summer travel. At home, I have two active cats, Betty (5) and Flanders (4), so I’m very used to keeping curious, playful animals engaged. I currently offer house sitting only (no boarding or daycare) so I can give your pets my full attention in their own environment.
