Hi! I’m a reliable, experienced pet sitter offering in-home house sitting in the Greater Portland area, so your pets can stay relaxed in the comfort of their own home and routine. I’m an elementary school teacher during the year, which means I bring a lot of patience, responsibility, and attentiveness into how I care for animals. During the summer, I have a much more flexible schedule and greater daytime availability, making it a great time for extended stays, vacations, and more involved care. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and started pet sitting regularly in college. I’ve since cared for a wide range of pets—including senior animals, rescues, and pets with special needs. I’m comfortable administering medication, supporting mobility, and giving extra attention to animals who need a little more care. I know many pets in this area are active and used to lots of stimulation—whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just staying engaged throughout the day. I have plenty of patience for high-energy dogs and playful cats, and I make sure they get the attention and structure they’re used to. I also have a lot of experience with rescue animals and pets with anxiety, so I focus on building trust and helping them feel safe, especially while their owners are away. I’m happy to stay overnight or for extended trips, whether you’re heading out of town for a weekend, vacation, or summer travel. At home, I have two active cats, Betty (5) and Flanders (4), so I’m very used to keeping curious, playful animals engaged. I currently offer house sitting only (no boarding or daycare) so I can give your pets my full attention in their own environment. I love helping dogs and cats get their energy out by playing. Whether it’s fetch, tug of war, wand-play with cats, or a game only your pet knows, I’ll find a way to stimulate your animal & build trust. I’ll faithfully follow your directions on crating, feeding, and any other special instructions.

Hannah is great! She hangs out with our husky who has bad separation anxiety/isolation distress and he is very calm and comfortable with her! She’s very communicative as well.
Hannah was fantastic with our boy, Ace! She completely accommodated his old man ways and took great care of our home while we were away. Would 10/10 book again!
Hannah has watched our pets a couple times and does a great job! She is responsible and communicates well. It’s such a relief to know our babies are in good hands when we are away.
Hannah was attentive to Nola and made sure our pup had everything she needed. She took her for daily walks, played ball, and was great with giving updates. She also took great care of our two kitties as well. Even though they are shy and hide quite a bit, Hannah did her very best to try and find them and give them attention as well.

Schedule
I work 8-4 weekdays at school but have a much more flexible schedule in the summer. You can expect me to walk and feed in the morning and evening.
