I work full-time Monday through Friday but have a wide open schedule on weekends and weekdays before 7am and past 4pm, when I am off from work. However, while dog sitting I always go home during my lunch break to check in and to take your pup on a short walk. I absolutely prioritize dog sitting with the free time I have outside of work and I’m very organized and intentional about scheduling, making sure that dogs in my care always get consistent attention and exercise.

While caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I make sure to follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, and care instructions closely while making sure that they get enough exercise and a balance of lots of pets and attention! I’m very respectful of other people’s homes and treat it as if it were my own by making sure things are clean, secure, and organized. Because of my experience with all different ages of dogs, I’m also very meticulous with medications and any special needs your pup may have. I also know how hard it can be away from your puppy and make a point to communicate regularly with photos, updates, and notes so you can feel confident with your dog’s safety and happiness.

A typical day
I am more than happy to do whatever types of activities that your dog enjoys the most. Whether they’re more of a couch potato and enjoy relaxing or would like to go on long walks or hikes. I love to play fetch with dogs and based on what you are comfortable with, I’m happy to take them to the dog park or human park! I also love to just play with them inside and give them lots of love!

Pet care experience
I’ve spent my entire life working with and caring for dogs, from high-energy working breeds to senior pups. I grew up mushing sled dogs and am extremely comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for a ton of different breeds, including huskies, poodles, Chesapeake Bay retrievers, Catahoula hounds, and pit bulls. Beyond owning lots of dogs, I’ve done lots of dog sitting throughout my life and love spending time with dogs more than anything, including walks, training, play time, or just chillaxing together. I’ve raised and trained at least 20 puppies, so I’m very familiar with puppy energy, basic training, and building good habits early on. However, I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understanding the attention that they may need. One of my own puppies actually lived to 24! Being away from home right now, I’m really looking forward to spending time with dogs and giving them lots of attention and care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and would love to be able to hang out with your puppy and make sure they are happy and well cared for!
