Availability
I work from home so I'm usually home most of the day except for a few hours middle of the day. I am never gone for more than 4/5 hours at a time if I'm boarding a pup.

For boarding, I have a fenced backyard and keep the first level of the house separate from upstairs when I board dogs. I try to keep them on their normal routine as much as possible. If they're used to being crated at night or when alone, I ask that the owner brings the crate. For drop ins or stays at the owner's home, I follow the pet's normal schedule as much as I can!

What makes the dog comfortable with a new person and what things to look out for that may indicate stress or other problems. No breed preferences - I love them all! It's also extremely helpful to know the dog's normal routine (how frequently he or she is taken outside, is he or she normally fed at specific times, any specific playtime requests, etc). All of this helps me schedule out the stay and provide an accurate estimate to the owner :) *Now offering boarding in my home to select clients! Boarded dogs must be good with other dogs, need to be up to date on all shots, heartworm and flea-tick prevention, be housebroken (absolutely no marking!), and not have a recent history of chewing/destroying anything other than their own toys.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog Drop-in visits during the day that only consist of feeding and letting outside would take about 15-20 minutes and would include treats and lots of attention! The addition of a walk would add another 15-20 minutes to the time spent. Overnight stays would consist of about 9-10 hours. Extra house-sitting services Bringing in mail and newspaper as well as light watering is included. Dog Boarding: I work from home so generally I'll be home with the dogs during the week. Dogs will have roam of the first floor (kitchen and living area). I have a small fenced backyard and can take them for daily walks if they're used to that regularly. Potential dog park visits and/or visits with my parents' dog can be arranged if owner approves!

Responsible, Experienced Pet Sitter
Pet care experience
I am a 35 yr. old currently working as a remote web developer. I graduated college in 2011 with a BS in Equine Administration. I've always loved animals and have pet sat for many different clients over the years - many of them still call me when they are planning a trip and need a sitter. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to make drop in visits during the day (or even work from your home if you have wireless internet!). I have been pet sitting for many years now and have experience with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, rats, chinchillas, hamsters, and other farm animals. I have excellent references and many happy clients I have worked with in the past. I can promise your pets will be as loved and cared for as they are when you are home with them! Why I love pet sitting: I have been an animal lover my entire life and up until recently have always had at least 1 cat and dog. I currently have a horse who I keep off property and occasionally foster dogs in my home.

Reviews

Hannah was great! She watched my grandmothers dog while she was visiting me and gave frequent updates and made him feel right at home
Excellent care.

Hannah took fantastic care of our girl, Rookie! She was responsive to messages, made sure we felt comfortable, and treated Rookie with a lot of care. Rookie came back exhausted from playing and it was like she has been on vacation herself. We would highly recommend Hannah.

Hannah was outstanding and dependable with feeding and litter care for my three cats. My shy cat even finally came out towards the end of the visits. Hannah was able to deal with the unexpected, as in the bag of cat kibble my cats chewed open and scattered across the kitchen floor. I would definitely book Hannah again!
