As I mentioned above I am lucky to have the time to volunteer at winking acres three times a week. While I work full-time for people with special needs my schedule is pretty random and allows me to make changes when needed. I am lucky to have such a doting mother for my dog Iggy so him staying with her while I pet sit is perfect.

While I prefer to mostly pet sit at clients home it might be possible every once in a while to do so at my house. I have a pretty big fenced in yard. I have a dog but he does not get along with other animals so well so he would stay with my mom on the random occasion I watch a dog at my house. I have high respect and courtesy for other people’s property and privacy and would show these qualities while visiting a pet owners home.

Pet care experience
I believe several things set me apart from other sitters on Rover: I am vegan for the animals and value animal welfare, happiness, enrichment, and safety an incredible amount. Every animal I have had has been my best friend and top priority in my life. For example my current dog Iggy and I go on at least a 30 minute walk every day (often longer when the weather permits-when the weather is too harsh we go to places like Lowe’s or the mall for our daily walk). We go to all kinds of parks and different locations so he can feel enriched exploring new places. Everyone who knows me knows that animals, advocating for them, and being around them and supporting them is where I shine most in my life. * I hate to sound like I’m over selling myself but it really is the truth. I also volunteer at oinking acres Pig (and other animals-cats, dogs, donkeys, various birds like peacocks and chickens, goats, and turkeys). 3 days a week.

Hannah loves and is incredibly devoted to animals! She is wonderful and affectionate with my cats and dogs, giving them an abundance of snuggles and playtime. I feel secure and relaxed when she’s with my pets, because I know they are well-taken care of. Highly recommend!
Hannah is always my “go-to” pet sitter when I go out of town. She sends me daily pictures and videos that put my mind at ease when I’m away from my babies. She’s knowledgeable about dog behavior and is great at adjusting her approach depending on whether your dog is shy, reactive, excitable, etc. She is caring, dependable, and best of all my dogs and cats really love her.
Hannah goes above and beyond. She often walks my 17 year-old dog. Dusty, who adores her. The photos she shared showed a lucky, loved dog. She took the time to get to know Dusty, who is nearly deaf and blind. Hannah earned his trust and made walk time a special time for Dusty.
