I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember—literally, I was born on National Puppy Day. Friends and family know me as “the dog girl,” and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I spend a lot of my time researching behavior, breeds, care, and handling, and I’m usually the youngest person in the room at dog-related events. I don’t just walk dogs or stop in to feed them—I pay attention to the way they communicate and respond to their environment. That awareness helps me adjust in real time so pets feel understood instead of simply managed. Working hands-on in a grooming environment has taught me a lot about reading body language, handling nervous or sensitive dogs, and staying calm and patient in stressful moments. I focus on making pets feel comfortable, secure, and mentally fulfilled during our time together—not just physically tired. Whether it’s a structured walk, a drop-in visit, playtime, or a calm check-in, I match each pet’s pace and personality instead of forcing my own routine onto them. I value consistency, trust, and clear communication, and I take the time to build a genuine connection with the pets I care for.
