I work from home Monday and Friday, so on those days I have flexibility to provide the care your pet specifically needs. While I am caring for a pet, I want to make them as comfortable as possible and prioritize attending to their needs.

I try to respect your pets needs and boundaries as well as respecting the home that I am sitting in. If a dog seems high to medium energy, I try to provide stimulation through walks and play. I also make it a priority to respect the boundaries of your pet. I will give them space and let them come to me if they are shy, will be gentle and patient if I sense anxiety, all the while trying to let them know that they are safe & that I am a friend.

I would like to know anything that you believe is important for me to know. If they have any special needs, if they are anxious or shy, how they are with other dogs, if there's anything in their history that would be important to know.
A typical day
I try to take the dogs I watch for at least an hour long walk (less if that is too much for the dog) that may end with a pupacchino! If a dog indicates that they want to play, I will play games (tug of war, fetch, etc.) Depending on how long I am hired to watch the dog, I'll hang out and have calm time with the dog by watching TV with them and cuddling (or letting them lounge around on their own.)

Pet care experience
I have been a dog lover since I got my first dog, Kiwi the puggle, about 20 years ago. While I can't have a dog at my current place, I love to hang out with my friends dogs and dog walk/sit when I can. I have experience dog sitting a variety of dogs - from a senior german shepherd/mastiff mix to a bernadoodle puppy, to high energy australian shepherds and golden retrievers. I would be more than happy to take your dog for a long walk or hike (if that's what they'd like), and am fine with just hanging on the couch and giving pets. I also have experience cat sitting! I had a rambunctious tuxedo cat in college named Chia who I loved dearly. I was the regular sitter for my friends cat who required oral medication. I've cat sat for a number of other cats, from a range of playful to timid to independent. Happy to tell you more about myself and my experience, and I hope to have the chance to look after your adorable fur baby!

Hannah takes good care of Luna, including all her meds and old dog quirks! She’s a good communicator and she always leaves our place better than she found it.
Hannah did a fantastic job taking care of our senior dog! She was flexible, easy to communicate with, and handled all Luna’s quirks and medications well. She took care of Luna and our home like it was her own while we were away - it was incredibly tidy and she went above and beyond making sure Luna got all the attention she needed.
Hannah was great with my cat as my theee chickens- as usual! She is reliable and caring and communicates easily. She pays attention to details and gives my kitty extra attention and affection. I’d highly recommend Hannah for anyone!
Hannah did an over the top job watching our two fur babies while we were out on a 4 day trip! She had excellent communication. Showed a lot of genuine love for the pups, & took great care of our place! 10/10 recommend! :)
