I’m a happy South African, raised predominantly in the Scottish Borders, so, have grown up with animals- from birds and reptiles, to fluffy pets, to farm and wild animals! I pride myself on being tidy, affectionate and trustworthy and have plenty of experience with keeping homes running smoothly and comfortably, through my years of nannying, cleaning and house/pet sitting in the villages around me. I’m confident with following daily routines and keeping the peace with food, walks, play and medication. As well as household tasks like watering plants, taking bins out, managing heating, ensuring security and supporting any general household oddities.

I like to follow family’s general routines with pets, to keep them comfortable, whether on walks or in homes. Since I’ve grown up with pets, I’m used to keeping food and other appealing items out of reach, so you can rest assured, there’ll be no accidental snack times under my care. I have looked after different breeds of puppies and dogs- including Dachshunds, Labradors, Corgis, Miniature Pincers, Spaniels, Golden Irish Setters, Cavapoos, King Charles Spaniels and Wirehaired Vizslas- so am familiar with spine-care, sensitive breeds and both strong and small dogs!

Our boys had a great time with Hannah. They seemed to settle straight away and were very happy when we came back. Hannah was great at communicating the whole time with regular pictures and messages. She left the house very neat and tidy too!

We asked Hannah to be a live in pet sitter for our elderly cat, Smudge on a number of occasions. Hannah immediately bonded with Smudge who quickly became very comfortable with Hannah - snuggling up with her on the settee and on the bed. Hannah made sure that Smudge was fed her special diet food, emptied litter trays and generally cared for her. We received photos and updates every few days which was lovely. Hannah left our house in perfect condition and I would highly recommend her. We found her trustworthy, friendly and kind.

Schedule
My calendar is newly free, as I’ve just transitioned from working full-time, to studying! So, I’m available on all days and nights of the weeks. As I’m currently studying online courses in various children’s therapies, I can be a calm, fun and constant presence in your pets lives, until you’re home again from exploring! Otherwise, I enjoy reading, painting and keeping fit in nature, which all work well for the routines and needs of pets.
