Pet care experience

Challenging dog expert!

Through my time working in shelters, as a pet sitter/dog walker, and head trainer for multiple companies I have met and loved hundreds of dogs. My scientific background as well as extensive behavioral knowledge makes me extremely capable to take care of any breed and personality. I am an avid hiker and love to show dogs a good time. Whatever your pups preferred activities, I can accommodate and more! I love to add in mental exercise in the form of training and games to truly tire out your pup, not just physically, while working on valuable life skills as well. I have experience with reactivity, resource guarding, fearful/shy dogs, anxiety, medical issues, deaf/blind dogs, puppies and adolescents and more. My own three dogs- Flash, Capri, and Keller- are my best friends and best teachers. I can’t wait to meet your best friend too!

Safety, trust & environment

I treat every client’s home and dog as my own. I respect privacy and security making sure to check and double check all gates, doors, and locks. Working at a professional pet sitting company for many years in the past has given me the experience to get in and out of your house safely while caring for your dog and providing you with peace of mind. Your dog is my top priority when I am with them. I value leash safety and carry my own safety equipment at all times including non-slip martingale collars, extra leashes, and carabiners. I am a pro at avoiding off leash dogs or other unwanted attention on walks depending on your dogs preferences. I pride myself on a deep understanding of canine body language allowing me to determine when and what your dog would like to do or avoid.

I simply can't say enough about this amazing angel on earth! Hannah willfully agreed to sit in our home with our 4 German Shepherds regardless to their aggressive reputation as a breed. We were able to take a well deserved vacation thanks to her assistance. She also works as a dog trainer which is nice to know for piece of mind she is there for whatever comes. Our fur family can be quite challenging with attitudes for days and there was only one other person Melissa J that has accepted the mission. We can't say enough about these Rover folks! Truly top notch professional!!

Hannah has been working with our dogs for several years. Her positive training methods have been essential in supporting our dogs' social and behavioral needs. We highly recommend Hannah - she has a wealth of knowledge about dog health and behavior and is able to meet unique needs on a day-to-day basis. We have found Hannah to be extremely reliable. On top of that, our girls LOVE her!

Owning my own dog training company provides so much including a flexible schedule. My lessons are no longer than 2 hours at most and I typically only have 1-2 a day which gives me plenty of time morning, afternoon, and evening to continue to care for dogs in whatever capacity you need.
