Most of my weekends, I do respite care for a family that usually lasts around four hours a day. The rest of my schedule is very flexible.

I always make sure I check with owners about the safety needs of their beloved pets. If I am taking care of a pet in a home, I will make myself aware of potential risks in the home or surrounding areas. I also like to keep myself informed about nearby parks and walkways to insure safety on our outings.

Whether a dog has arthritis or is blind or hard of hearing and needs extra love in any way, I know they’re awesome anyway. I’m aware that some dogs go very slow and don’t get very far, and some have all the energy in the world. Every dog is different and I’m happy to accommodate.
A typical day
I like to try and play hide and seek with dogs! Some dogs are masters at the game and I love to challenge them. I also love walking with dogs and like to make walks fun.

Pet care experience
I've been taking care of my goldendoodle Cozi for seven years, and I hope to work with animals in a future career. I had experience animal sitting for family and friends even before I got my puppy. The people in my neighborhood know me because I love to get to know their dogs when they're walking them. I also love other animals and have never met an animal I didn't like. I love animals and will give them all the love!
