I grew up on a hobby farm for the first 20 years of my life. On that farm I cared for various dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, peacocks, bunnies, fish & more. I have cared for and pet-sat all of these animals & more since I was 10-years-old. I have experience administering shots & giving oral medication as well as grooming dogs, goats, horses, cats & even chickens! I also offer grooming & nail trimming services for an additional price if you so wish. I started showing dogs, horses, goats & chickens in 4-H when I was 10 & started showing dogs through the American Kennel Club (AKC) when I was 12-years-old. I’ve been a member of the Sheboygan Dog Training Club for over 5 years. My dogs & I have trained & shown in Obedience, Rally, Showmanship, Confirmation, FAST Cat, Fetch, scent work & more. No matter how much time I spend with my dogs & others, I can’t get enough. They are one of my greatest passions! <3

Schedule
Every day, I wake up at 6:30am to let my dogs outside to go potty, & play then feed them. We take about a 30-minute walk before I go to work. I get to work by 8am Monday-Thursday. On my lunch break, I come home to let my dogs out & walk them. My husband and I get done with work at 3:30pm (home by 4pm) each day to let the dogs out again. We then walk & feed the dogs once more in the evening. They go out for the last time in the evening anywhere between 10pm-12am. (My husband is a night owl!)

Safety, trust & environment
My husband & I have a fenced in yard at our home & 3 dogs of our own to keep your dog(s) company. My dogs are crate trained & can stay in our dog room in our basement if your pet(s) prefer not to be around ours. They can also all be let out & walked separately. I have a fairly flexible job in case of emergency where I may need to leave early. I can send updates & photos daily if that is what you’re interested in or let you have a quiet, uninterrupted vacation.

A typical day
I love watching dogs work & finding fun games & activities to help keep them stimulated. We can walk, run or bike around town, go on an adventure hike on some trails near my home, or exercise in our backyard. I also have various dog games & puzzles for them to find treats and stay stimulated.
