👋 Hi, I’m Hannah! Single mom of two boys (6 & 9) in Hillsdale/Multnomah Village. We’d love to welcome your pup into our active, loving home! I work remotely as a director in the software industry, with a busy yet steady routine of work, daily walks, school pickup/dropoff, and lots of playtime. We’re great with both high-energy pups who love to run/fetch and older dogs who just want cuddles. (Only caveat: we are not the best fit for very anxious dogs, or those who frequently have accidents indoors.) 💜 My 6-year-old (on the spectrum) dreams of bonding with a dog - cuddling on the couch and throwing a ball until your pup begs for a break. We use Rover for him mostly, since we can’t get our own just yet (we are saving up for a golden!) it would mean so much to share that love with yours. Hannah took great care of our dog. She seems very experienced, was communicative, and made everything very easy and straightforward. It was nice that her boys were there to give our dog some extra attention.
Hannah and I trade home/child/pet care regularly as our kids attend the same school. Her attention to detail and high standards of care feel like they can only be matched by my husband or I. Our aussie comes home not only happy and playful, but completely exhausted, too! It’s clear our dog and daughter are treated like family with Hannah, and I couldn’t recommend her more.

Schedule
Given my work schedule and lifestyle, we are ready for your pup just about any time and any day! I take walks when I can get breaks from meetings, in general we have a 5/6/7am, lunch time, and evening walk schedule, as well as frequent park trips. We like to walk to this fenced green patch by our house and throw a ball with our pup friends!

Myself (and how I’ve taught my kids) to engage with animals is very trust-based and animal-led, I’d say. We use deep eye contact to try to read our furry friends, we’ve talked a lot about their queues/signals and what they mean, and i ultimately am going to follow the pet owners lead.
A typical day
We like lots of walks, ball throwing, hiking and long drives to the coast or the gorge. We visit Gabriel park often and play basketball, football, visit the dog park etc

- I prefer to have - veterinary info and an emergency contact if you’re leaving town. - I need to know if your dog bolts for the door or may push past my children when we open the front door - I need thorough and specific information if your dog is not friendly with other animals. We can make just about anything work, but need to know what we are working with :)
