I am an avid animal lover! I am patient and caring. I love being with animals and have no problem giving them hours of attention. I am attentive to abnormal animal behavior and I would be very communicative about your animals care. I grew up taking care of pets on my uncles farm; my family has two senior rescues; I have experience with special needs dog who take medication; and I raised a puppy of my own. I also have experience working at daycares and dog kennels. From my experience working at dog kennels I saw first hand how it's not a good fit for many dogs. It can be an incredibly stressful and confusing situation for the pet. I chose housesitting for my pets because they are anxious and two of them are rescues who get very stressed out by new environments. I offer housesitting exclusively so I am available for those who need a patient and caring person to love on their fur-family members while they are away. When I am in your home watching your family members I make sure to keep as much of their normal routine as possible. What you can expect from a booking with me are plenty of photos, constant communication, and hopefully me forming a strong bond with you pet. I do not leave dogs for longer than four hours at a time, if I leave them at all. However, I typically will leave to spend a couple hours with my own pets, run errands, or go to the gym. The most important thing to me when I begin a sitting is forming a relationship with your pet. I watch many rescues and older pets who often require patience and understanding, and I take that role very seriously. I hope I can make the experience of having to leave your pets as enjoyable and stress free as possible!
