Hi, I'm Hannah! 
 Having been a pet-owner myself for much of my life, I totally understand the worry and concern that goes with leaving your loved animal with another human and the anxiety that often comes with going away (can very much relate to trying to relax on holiday and constantly wondering in the back of my mind what my dog was up to without me), and so I really want to provide a kind and complete service for you and your pet(s) where you can rest assured they feel happy, safe and comfortable, so that you can feel the same way too. Of course I'd be delighted to send you pics and updates so you know how your pet is getting on!
 I have had animals throughout my whole life, from dogs and cats, to rabbits, gerbils and even horses. I had my own dog with me for over half my life and who sadly passed away in January 2025 at 16 years old. Having, caring for, loving and now grieving my own dog and best friend means I can completely empathise with what a huge and important part of your life your pet is and how much they mean to you. As a pet sitter, I make your pet's care and well-being my priority. 
 I love dogs of all sizes and have experience with rescue pets, young dogs, senior dogs and even dogs with more specialised or specific needs - for example, we have a deaf dog in the family who needs a more specific kind of care to meet her needs. I'm always keen to hear all about your pets and their needs from you (because who knows them better than you!) and would love the chance to chat with you prior to setting up a pet sit or dog walk, so we can make sure I have a good idea of your pet's personal needs and so I can provide you with the best possible service. 
 My own dog suffered with separation anxiety over the years (worked hard so he was so much calmer and happier in his later years), and so I am familiar with working with dogs who perhaps are a little less comfortable away from home (and their humans) and prioritise building a good bond and connection with the dog to ensure they feel as safe as possible in my care. 
 Have been a volunteer at an animal shelter where I walked dogs of all shapes and sizes. This provided valuable experience in handling and building strong relationships with all sorts of dogs, from all walks of life. It was a truly special experience to be able to help care for these dogs and it is the same passion and energy for providing the best possible care for your pet that I bring with me as a pet sitter. I am a social worker in my day job and have a pretty flexible schedule and am available from the early afternoon onwards to help with dog walking, dog sitting or just checking in on your pets if you're stuck at work. 
 I live with my partner who also loves animals. He’s grown up with dogs and cats and has lots of experience with different breeds of dogs, including German Shepherds, Dobermans, Dachshunds, and terrier and toy types. While I take total responsibility for the care of your pet, my partner is of course around at home to shower them with extra love and affection 🤗 More than happy for us all to meet before a stay / petsit to ensure you and your pet are comfortable and happy with both of us.
