I’m currently working part time and have some flexibility in my schedule so pet sitting is a fun side gig that works well for me and pet owners. Typically at minimum pet sitting includes the morning, a mid day visit, evening, and spending the night. If your pet needs more visits we can talk about it, and if your pet is not able to be left alone we can discuss an hourly rate.

Beside a few stomach upsets, I’m grateful that I’ve never had any pet injuries or sicknesses while I’m petsitting. I always keep dogs on leash if not in a fenced area. I’m not comfortable depending on recall of the dog is not my own. If there’s anything about the pet that seems off to me, I send a text to the owner to make sure it isn’t serious. With my pets, I’d rather be well informed so I can give instructions, rather than find out later something was wrong.

A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog: I have a flexible schedule right now so can work with whatever the pets usual schedule. Typically letting out and feeding first thing, getting some work done on my laptop, going on a walk, then I might go out for the other visits I do during the day. Back for dinner and playtime outside, and watching a movie before bed. Extra house-sitting services Sure, no problem. Just leave me a list!

About this sitter: My name is Hannah. I have enjoyed caring for many of my own animals and those of others. I am honest, reliable, and thorough in my work. I think it's important for pet owners to have peace of mind while traveling, so I care for all animals like my own. Why I love dog sitting I've loved animals my whole life. Most of my young childhood was with cats and horses. In my young teen years, I loved our family dogs. But when I was 15, I got a puppy that was just mine. She was the best dog I ever had. She was so smart and it was like she could not only understand commands, but also words and the tone of my voice. I think ever since I had her, dogs have been my favorite animal.

Hannah is wonderful with our dogs! This is the second time she’s watched them but the first time that it’s been for a full week. She sends updates and pictures which makes leaving them for so long less stressful. Thank you again Hannah!
Hannah was wonderful with our pup when we were gone. We had a bit of a weird schedule switching between our friend watching our dog and Hannah and she was very accommodating. Our home was clean when we arrived back home. Will definitely use Hannah again in the future!
Hannah was amazing! She gained the trust of our surprising protective older puppy. She came in and saved the day when our other sitter canceled last minute. We are so grateful for her flexibility!
This was our first time using Rover and after this experience we will again! Hannah was wonderful with our dog! She was very flexible with our date change as well. We hope to use Hannah again in the future!
