Safety, trust & environment

I am extremely professional and will follow your directions for how you’d like your dog (and me) to behave in the home - consistency is important! I have had multiple clients give me their keys or door codes to come and go with absolutely no concerns, I’m only there for your pets! My home has a very large fenced yard where your pet can safely explore to their hearts content. I am very comfortable with all animals, and am able to uphold any training regimens you may have (including e-collars, alternative collars etc)

Information Hanna S. would like to know about your pet

Aside from all the questions I will ask when you contact me, I will also need to know your fur baby is up-to-date with all their vaccinations, and are not currently experiencing any contagious symptoms, either systemically or superficially. (For example being sick, or having fleas). Keeping all our babies happy and healthy is number 1!

A typical day

If you have any requests, I will gladly do what I can to accommodate. I have MANY spots I can take your baby, from big challenging hikes to rural flat open spaces, and of course a few beaches and watering holes - depending on the service purchased (subject to an extra fee). Send your pets' favourite toy, bed or blanket, but if you forget, I have LOTS. I have taught many dogs how to swim, and many puppies their recall, as well as manners and behaviour, and would be happy to help, or continue your training at your request! *Our day heavily depends on the services booked* • For the less active seniors (they’re babies too!) we will have cuddles and short, flat walks. • For working dogs we usually do a hike or swim in the morning, and go to a huge fenced flat field in the evening for dog play. • For adult dogs we usually do a hike or long walk once a day, with a small walk in the evenings. • All with access to a large yard all day. I have many fun ideas up my sleeve, so whether your dog likes a simple, quiet day, a fun beach day, a long hike, or a favourite dog park they like, I am certain I will know exactly how to make them happy! Have a look through my photos to see some of my adventures!

Your fur-babies are my babies too!

Pet care experience

Hey all you Pet Parents! Leaving your babies with someone you don't know can be terrifying, and to be honest, I was never able to leave my baby in a daycare - So I totally know what you are feeling right now! I will make sure they know how much they are loved, and I will always send pictures and updates to put your mind at ease! Each and every fur baby is the most special, and I always make sure they know that. My name is Hanna and animals are truly my life. I have spent my entire life spending as much time as possible with ALL types of animals. For me, growing up it was Dogs and Horses... Not only was I completely obsessed - but I was also the neighbourhood dog walker/babysitter. We lived in a fairly safe area, and most people would let their dogs have free roam. That being said, if they ever couldn't find their dogs, they were usually hanging out with 5 year old me, in my yard, or my bed. I began volunteering part time in barns and stables at the age of 7 years old. Every weekend I was taking care of all the barnyard animals, sheep, pregnant cats, injured ducks, birthing cows, nursing horses - you name it. During this time I also volunteered at the local SPCA, playing and brushing all the animals, and walking the dogs. As I grew older, I became the go-to in my neighbourhood whenever pets needed extra attention. I had two dogs on my street alone that needed regular medical support, and their owners weren't fully comfortable administering medication. One needed regular insulin injections, and one had part time subcutaneous pain management, that turned into full-time geriatric support I would help with. I was also the go-to when they couldn't take their babies on vacation with them, both in my parents house (Sorry Mom and Dad) and at their owners home. At the age of 13 I was on payroll with an elite Hunter/Jumper barn. I was part of a team that cared for 27 high performance show horses, with the most expensive horse in the barn being worth 1.2 million dollars (He happened to also be the best cuddler.) I stayed with this stable all through the rest of grade school until I went to Pharmacy school. Working with this team is still, to this day, the best working experience I have had in my life. Currently, I have the most wonderful Staffy mix, and he is truly my "soul dog". He is 8 years old and the biggest sweety pie ever, my Mother calls him "the marshmallow". We have recently signed up to be volunteers with St. John's, so that we can visit patients and eventually students who could use a dose of happiness. He loves other dogs, and kids, or anyone that will talk to him - and he will gladly share me with anyone we have in our home. I have both the passion, and the experience to give your babies not only the love they deserve, but also the care that they need while you are away, either at work or on vacation. If you have any questions at all, please reach out and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Take Care xo

If you love you dog and want the best for them, choose Hanna! She sent me pictures throughout the day of my dog and they had a lot of fun together. My dog seemed to love her and was in a great mood when I picked her up!

Took the best care of our dog. Sent photos of him clearly having the best time in her care, including her big fenced in area. Would not hesitate to book with Hanna again.

Hanna was so kind and calm with my dog, Penelope. We were in the area while I worked at a local business - she was very accommodating and flexible which I really appreciated! Hanna looked after Penelope for about 4 hours, walking her around and was even kind enough to ask if she could take P to her backyard where she was able to wander around off leash and sniff and have cuddles in the shade. Hanna kept in touch with me the whole time and even sent some videos so I knew what they were up to. Will absolutely reach out if I’m working in the area again, highly recommended! Thanks again Hanna ??
