I have been working with animals for as long as I remember. I have taken care of and trained my family's dogs. I am a person whose family and friends try to have take care of their pets when they're out of town. In a professional capacity, I have been working with different animals (and sizes) for a little over 6 years. I have taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, and fish now. I have also volunteered at a Rabbit Sanctuary (rabbits, cats, pigs, goats) and an Animal Shelter (cats, dogs). Both volunteer opportunities were done for multiple years. I know how important animals are to individuals and families and would like to treat yours as my own. I want them to feel safe and comfortable and totally taken care of when I’m there. I want to be someone that you trust and feel safe letting into your home to stay with a part of your fur-family.

Safety, trust & environment
I give at least 1 walk a day with or without a fenced-in yard. After walks, I play with the animals to get out additional zoomies. In that time frame, I also look to see if the animals need to be fed or given any medication. I will go by the instructors given by the owners. I also like to have emergency contact lists of vets, emergency vets, neighbours, and/or relatives in case of an emergency.

Hanah did a wonderful job taking care of our 2 big dogs, even though it’s freezing outside and they need daily walks. She sent photos every day and made me feel like they were truly loved and cared for. One of our dogs is more standoffish than the other and she stayed in the living room with Hanah a lot of the time! Anyone who wins Abbey over is a winner!

I have a part time from 7a-2p. I also am back in school, I currently have Tuesday and Wednesday night classes but changes with the new semester. My schedule can be very flexible and I can shift things around if needed.

- -I always like to know if there is any resource guarding (food, toys, furniture, etc.). -If they have medications or medical conditions -If there are any dogs in the neighborhood or their hangout spots that they just do not get along with. But also how they do get along with because dogs also have besties!
