I'm currently home from college for the summer, so my schedule is pretty free! I'm looking at part-time jobs, but if I get enough clients here, there will be no need. Either way, I am willing to be as flexible as possible with anyone who selects my services.

I am great at reading animal behavior, and will pick up on cues your animal gives me so that I can make sure they are more comfortable! I have only ever rescued dogs, so I am used to handling fearful dogs, and I have no problem giving them space! I will follow all specific instructions about feeding and potty times to ensure that both you and your pet have the best experience I can provide.

I have worked with some senior dogs. I dog sat a senior dog recovering from knee surgery, and I had to put her brace on and take her brace off. As long as I have the instructions for anything special I need to do for an older dog or a special needs dog, I am comfortable with doing those tasks. I would prefer potty-trained dogs or owners who are okay with accidents.
A typical day
I love to take a dog outside and let them run if they are good at recall, or I'll even run with them on the leash. Fetch outside is also a good option for most dogs. My dog also likes to play keep away, where we hide the toy from him. This is especially good for dogs that get bored easily. I also like to practice tricks with dogs using their favorite treats.

Pet care experience
I've grown up around dogs and even helped train my mom's service dog. I am comfortable with cats, but I have a mild allergy, so I have never owned one. I've had small and large dogs, and I know how to handle both! I was a caregiver for a family friend's dogs for a few years, and it was amazing! I've also interned at a veterinary clinic, so I've worked with many different breeds of dogs and cats.
