I work from home, so I can offer boarding and daycare for dogs and small furries (separately, or together if from the same famiy). I can only cater for dogs with separation anxiety for daycare, but not for boarding.

I live in a calm and quiet detached house with a decent sized fenced-in garden, with my partner Cal. We don’t have any of our own pets, and I only care for one family’s pets at a time, to ensure I can provide the best one to one love and care.

Please be honest with me about your dog’s behaviour, temperament, and routine, so I can make sure me and my home will be a good fit for them. I welcome dogs of all personalities, but I do ask that owners are open with me about their dog’s energy levels, training, recall, ability to settle, behaviour around the home, and any challenges they may have. Honest information helps me determine whether I can meet your dog’s needs and provide them with a safe, comfortable stay, and ensures the stay is a positive experience for everyone. Please let me know in advance if your pet has any special requirements, such as food or medication at a set time. Please also let me know if your pet has any fears or allergies, so I can keep them safe.
A typical day
I am really into fitness and going for walks locally, so if your dog loves a good walk, we’ll get on fabulously. I also don’t mind walking dogs who go at a slower pace, or dogs that would prefer a quick 15 minute walk round the block before getting back to the sofa for a snooze. I love beach walks, and walks around nature reserves local to Durham/Sunderland.

I am QLS Level 3 Animal Care, Pet First Aid & Pet CPR qualified, and carry a pet first aid kit with me at all times. I am a passionate animal lover; I volunteered for Sheffield Retired Greyhound Trust until I moved to the North East in 2024, spending my Saturday mornings caring for and walking rescue greyhounds. I grew up with two of my own dogs. I have been providing dog walking services since 2017, and daycare and boarding since 2019, meaning I have over 15 years of experience taking care of dogs. 🐶 I have a calm and quiet home, and can provide enrichment and plenty of attention, especially if your dog loves a sofa cuddle! I pride myself in being reliable and communicative, so you know your dog is in the best hands. I live near Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve, and hold a Durham Wildlife Trust membership to walk dogs in a variety of different places so they don't get bored. 🌳 I organise a pre-meet before all boarding bookings to check that you and your dog feel comfortable with me, my partner Cal, and our home, to make sure we're a good fit for your dog and vice versa. We don't have any of our own pets, and I only care for one family's pets at a time, to ensure I can provide the best one to one love and care; a real home away from home. 🥰 When your dog is in my care, I treat them as if they were my own. I will provide you with regular photo 'pupdates' on how they are and what they're getting up to. 🐾

Han is an experienced dog owner who provides a loving and warm home environment for all types of dogs big or small. She is able to tailor her approach to different types and dogs and takes time to understand their different personality and quirks!
Han has looked after my tabby cat several times while I’ve been on holiday. She’s always quick to respond and goes above and beyond to make sure he’s safe and well cared for, carefully following all my feeding, litter, and playtime instructions. Keeping him safely indoors is really important to me, and she’s been great with that. She also sends photo and video updates, which is such a lovely touch while I’m away. I’d definitely recommend her and will be contacting her again in the future to look after my fur baby!
