I have 10 years of pet, farm, and house-sitting both for friends and family and professionally. I owned a pet and farm sitting business when I lived in Minnesota and provided top tier service to a large range of clients. I have pet and home sat for families on vacation with a single pet, watched over an entire Equine Therapy Ranch, taken large packs of dogs on off leash hikes and excursions, dog walked in cities all over the country, offered basic training and socialization services, maintained farms, gardens, rental properties, assisted in crop harvest and honey extraction, and much more! Whether you have a single pet or an entire farm I am your girl. I will maintain an immaculately clean home, thoroughly exercise and care for pets, attentively water and nourish house plants, and anything else you may need while you are away.

Halston was amazing with our babies. She sent pictures and videos, took our dog out on hikes which he loves (and asked if that was okay ahead of time - extra considerate), and made sure our cat’s medical needs were met (and that I was updated that he was doing well throughout our trip). I felt secure and able to relax knowing they were so well taken care of. The house was spotless when I got home so I could relax a bit after travel! Will definitely trust Halston with my babies again.
Halston made Gigi’s time without us lots of fun and with good care. Gigi and Halston hit it off right away. Gigi usually won’t eat when we’re gone and she ate really well with Halston. We were sent pics of Gigi having fun and relaxing with Halston. It was a great experience for Gigi and also for us since we were able to trust that Gigi was in good company and very happy.

Schedule
My husband and I travel full-time as pet and house sitters, and I am also a professional dog-walker. We both work freelance remote jobs, allowing us to tailor our schedule to the needs of our clients.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs who are boarded with me are treated as my own. I have a 13 year old Chiweenie who is my entire world and the best temporary sibling to all dogs I care for. My years of experience working in animal care and rescue have given me the skills necessary to look after every breed, age, and temperament. Dogs with social anxiety, rescue dogs with traumatic pasts, and dogs with special needs are my specialty and are given an extremely high level of attention and care.
