Hallie was very accommodating for drop off and pick up time slightly different from schedule due to traffic or change in circumstance.

I met with Lyra a few days before the trip, and all seemed fine. There was no indication that our job would be a problem for her. Sadly, I am shocked at how bad this sitter ended up being for us! She was supposed to stay four nights, house sitting and watching our two dogs, but she skipped out on the first two nights, without letting us know! She stopped by 10 minutes each of those first two days instead, while we paid the house sitting rate and trusted our dogs would have someone with them overnight. I told her they were used to us ending gone during work hours, but needed some company in the evenings and overnight. She seemed totally fine with that. She didn’t even give us a chance to have friends come on an emergency basis when she decided not to be there - no heads up whatsoever! She ended up staying the last two nights, fortunately, but this whole job was not done as planned. We needed someone to be with our dogs for four nights, not two, and she gave me no indication that what I was hiring for would not work out for her and had no back up plan if she was unable to make it. On top of all of that, she left all our packages and mail outside, in front of the house when I specifically spoke to her about bringing those things in each day. Her flippant attitude through text about all of this is completely astounding. She even knew we have a surveillance camera on our driveway/entrance. At least she refunded two nights after I asked, since we were paying $55 a night for someone who barely even did half of what she was hired to do. When I read her profile it sounded like her mother, “Hallie,” would be a back up person when Lyra couldn’t make it, giving me more comfort, but I don’t think “Hallie” is involved in her daughter’s pet sitting business at all, at this point. Please beware - I would not recommend anyone use her as a sitter in the future. I am actually so shocked at the lack of professionalism, we will not be using Rover to find a sitter again.

Hallie and her daughter were very attentive with our new dog. Hallie dropped by a day before in order to get acclimated with our house and dog. She also sent photos and kept good communication while visiting. Would recommend to anyone needing a dog visit.

Our ferret Maya was very well taken care of! She was played with and we got sent photos after each drop-in. Recommended!

Thanks for doing a wonderful job looking after my bunnies. I felt very safe leaving them with you!

I was very pleased with the care that was given to our cats. We had daily contact on how they were doing which was much appreciated. I look forward to working with them in the near future.
