As a stay at home mom, I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide plenty of attention and supervision. Caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine with our 13 chickens and 2 dogs, so your pet will receive lots of love, care, and companionship while they’re with me.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I do my best to keep every pet on their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, and any medications they need. Dogs are taken outside frequently, and I always supervise interactions. If your pet would be more comfortable without other dogs around, I’m able to keep my own dogs completely separate during their stay. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

Information Halley T. would like to know about your pet
Before your pet’s stay, I’d love to learn about their routine, personality, and any special needs. Please let me know about medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, favorite activities, fears, or behaviors I should be aware of. I also ask that you let me know if your pet has ever shown aggression toward people or other animals so I can make sure everyone stays safe. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide a comfortable and stress-free experience for your pet.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor each day to their personality and energy level. Whether your dog loves walks, playing fetch, puzzle toys, cuddles on the couch, or simply relaxing nearby, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and enrichment throughout the day. I’m also happy to reinforce any training or routines you’re already working on to help keep things consistent.

SAHM Providing Loving Pet Care
Pet care experience
Hi! I’m a stay at home mom and lifelong animal lover who understands that pets are family. We have 13 chickens and 2 dogs of our own, so caring for animals is part of my everyday life. Our dogs love being outdoors, and we even built them a heated dog house to keep them comfortable year round. I previously worked as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable administering medications and paying close attention to changes in an animal’s health or behavior. Because I’m home most of the day, your pets will get plenty of attention, companionship, and care while you’re away. I’ll do my best to keep them on their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. If your pet is more comfortable without other dogs around, I’m also able to keep my dogs completely separate during your pet’s stay. Here’s what you can expect: * Comfortable administering medications to dogs and cats. * Frequent updates with photos and videos so you know how your pet is doing. * Plenty of love, playtime, and one-on-one attention. * Care tailored to your pet’s normal routine and needs. * My own dogs can be kept completely separate from your pets if needed. * No weight restrictions. * I welcome friendly dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. For everyone’s safety, I’m not able to accept pets with a history of aggression. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family!

Great experience all around!

Halley did a great job setting our two dogs and we will definitely ask her to set again.

We hired Halley for our newly adopted 2-year-old dog, Thanos, for a 9-day vacation. Since Thanos is still adjusting to his new home and routine, we preferred in-house care to keep things consistent for him. During the meet and greet, we provided a thorough overview of his daily needs, including his feeding schedule, potty breaks, known commands, and behaviors we're working on. We also provided a care document to help make expectations clear. Initially, we agreed to her rate of $84/night. However, two days before our trip, Halley informed us that, after reviewing Thanos' routine, which includes four short walks a day (10-15 minutes each) and adhering to his feeding and behavior guidelines, she considered this “a lot more work” and raised the rate to $140/night. We felt this timing put us in a difficult position, but we agreed to the increased rate. When we came home after the trip, our house had a strong odor of dog urine, and we found Thanos' bed soaked in urine. We were concerned that our dog may have been sleeping in his urine-soaked bed, which was stressful. This was also challenging as we arrived home late at night and spent considerable time cleaning rather than resting after our trip. We spent multiple days addressing the odor, and the carpet still retains some smell. We were also transparent about having security cameras outside and a nanny cam in our living room for occasional check-ins. She shared that she was uncomfortable with the indoor camera, and we assured her it wasn't for constant monitoring since we were on vacation. The camera was working fine when we left, but stopped functioning the day after our departure. Despite troubleshooting attempts with her, it remained non-functional throughout our trip, only to mysteriously start working again the day she left. This also concerned us since it broke a mutual trust we were trying to build with her. Halley was also transparent about bringing her small dog, which we agreed was okay. Her dog had a few accidents that she cleaned up with our carpet cleaner. The extensive urine issue with our dog suggests missed opportunities for more frequent bathroom breaks or bedding checks, as noted in our care document. While we appreciate that Thanos was kept safe, the sudden rate increase and the condition we found our home in did not meet our expectations for the premium price paid. To her credit, she was responsive when we reached out about the issues and offered a $200 partial refund to help resolve the matter. Future clients may want to clarify expectations upfront and ensure detailed communication about care standards.
