It’s important for me to know any medical needs, allergies, or medications your pet may have, as well as their typical routine for feeding, walks, and bathroom breaks. I’d also like to know about any behavioral traits like how they react to other animals, people, or loud noises so I can keep them safe and comfortable. Lastly, knowing their favorite toys, treats, and any house rules (like furniture boundaries or crate training) helps me give them the best care possible!
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love to keep them active, happy, and comfortable. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing fetch, or going to a dog park if they’re comfortable with it. For cats, I’ll play with toys like feather wands or laser pointers to keep them engaged. I also make sure to spend quality time giving them attention, cuddles (if they like that), and keeping their routine consistent so they feel at ease while their owners are away. Every pet is different, so I always tailor activities to what they enjoy most!
