A typical day
I personally love cuddle time—there’s nothing better than a relaxed, happy pet soaking up attention. That said, I’m just as happy getting outside for a good game of fetch in the backyard and burning off some energy! For my cat friends, I love bringing out the catnip toys or a wand toy for some playful fun, always letting them set the pace. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or more laid-back and snuggly, I enjoy meeting them where they’re happiest and making sure they feel comfortable, engaged, and loved.

🌺 I will be on hiatus for dog services July-August for recovery. I will reopen dog services mid August!🌺 I bring over 10 years of hands-on experience working with animals, including more than 5 years as a kennel assistant and 5 years as a veterinary assistant. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve developed strong skills in administering medications, including insulin and asthma treatments. My time in a veterinary hospital has also given me valuable experience working with animals of all temperaments, allowing me to stay calm, patient, and attentive in any situation.

Halina was so friendly, professional, and competent. We were having repairs done to our home and told our cat Pearl could remain, and then without warning we needed to find somewhere else for her to go. It was extremely stressful, and we’re so very greatful that Halina responded and was able to care for Pearl. She offered updates/videos as often as we wanted (we’d asked for once a day) and were kept informed. I can tell Pearl got the loving care she needed, and the home was set up nicely with the space and toys, including a nice window perch which she loved. Everything went so smoothly and relieved the stress of knowing our pet was well cared for! Highly recommend, and thanks again!
So appreciative of Halina watching my cat Johnnie while I traveled. She put me at so much ease with it being my first long trip away from the island and made me feel like Johnnie would be loved and safe while gone, which she 110% was. Communication was super fast and always helpful and informative and Johnnie was always in good spirits in videos. I will certainly be booking again with her 😊

Halina is a very sweet, outgoing person. She loves animals, especially cats. Her house is clean and the room where she kept my cat had a pleasant atmosphere and set up cat friendly.
