Availability
Dog walking fits well into my schedule because I work part-time, which gives me flexibility to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend walks. I plan my schedule carefully to ensure I arrive on time and can give each dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. If I have any scheduling conflicts, I communicate with owners in advance.

Safety, trust & environment
I understand that trust is essential when caring for someone’s pet and home. I treat every home with respect and follow care instructions exactly as provided. I make safety my top priority by keeping doors and gates secure, supervising pets, avoiding unsafe situations during dog walks and ensuring they always have fresh food, water and a clean environment.
Information Halie R. would like to know about your pet
Before walking a dog, I like to know their age, energy level, temperament, and any medical conditions or medications. I also ask whether they are friendly with other dogs, people, or children, if they have any fears or triggers (such as loud noises, bikes, or squirrels), and whether they tend to pull on the leash or try to escape. I make sure I understand their usual walking routine, preferred commands, and any special instructions from the owner. Knowing these details helps me keep the dog safe, comfortable, and happy during every walk.
A typical day
A typical day starts by greeting the dog and making sure they are comfortable. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, potty breaks, and any medications if needed. During our walk, I make safety a priority by keeping the dog on a secure leash, avoiding hazards, and letting them enjoy exercise and plenty of time to sniff and explore. After the walk, I make sure they have fresh water, wipe their paws if necessary, and spend a little time giving them attention and play before leaving. I also send the owner an update with photos and let them know how the walk went so they have peace of mind.
