I currently work a mix of seasonal and rotational geology jobs in remote Alaska. My husband and I just moved here, so I'm finding a meaningful way to spend free time while staying active whenever I can! Happy to get out of the house when pets need!

I am happy to follow detailed instructions on how you like your pet cared for including double checking all locks, gates, and fences. I will make sure they are properly leashed and a safe distance from others we meet on walks as well as providing as much or as little petting as they wish. I will treat them like my own and just hope to improve their day as they are improving mine.

I am happy to care for any dog, but do not do great with medicine injections. Please let me know if you dog has any favorite spots to be pet, games to play, or quirky walking habbits.
A typical day
I love to get my legs moving, so a long walk around a neighborhood or taking them to a trail is my favorite! For playing, I love chasing them around a yard or dog park to get their energy out and throwing balls, tug-of-war, and teaching basic tricks.

I had a high-energy pointer/setter mix growing up and have always defaulted to caring for dogs as I did Jazzie--getting their energy out but knowing when they're tuckered. I commonly pet sit for my cousin and coworkers in Alaska where leashes were important to protect against wild animal encounters, so I can assure you I will be careful to get your pet home safe and happy!
