Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and have experience caring for dogs through Rover. I live in Conroe and work in Houston, so I am flexible depending on location and scheduling needs. I am available for extended house sitting and overnight stays, as long as my two friendly dogs are able to come with me. They are well-socialized, get along great with other animals, and are used to being around new pets and environments. I make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and consistent care while their owners are away.

The only issue I would have with any dog is aggression. My dogs are super lazy and some dogs aren't on board with that! I've never ran into a dog that they couldn't get along with, though! No breed restrictions! Being a past American Pit Bull Terrier mom, I know first hand how hard it is to find a place to live or a sitter for those "aggressive breeds."
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch includes plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and companionship. I like to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away. Depending on the pet’s energy level and personality, this can include walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, outdoor time, cuddle time, or simply keeping them company throughout the day. I make sure pets get regular potty breaks, fresh water, meals on schedule, and lots of affection. For more active dogs, I enjoy going on longer walks or engaging them in interactive play to help burn energy and keep them happy. For calmer or older pets, I’m happy to provide a quieter environment with gentle attention and care. I also send updates and photos so owners can feel reassured that their pets are safe, happy, and being well cared for.

I've always wanted to have as many dogs as my living situation can handle! Dog sitting would be an opportunity for me to do what I love! I rescued my first dog in 2014 and shortly after that I volunteered to be a foster mom to (2) 6 week old pit/lab mixes. It was definitely a handful, but I learned how to manage/train multiple dogs at once. I always take my dogs out in the morning before I leave for work, as soon as I get home from work, and then before bed time. I would work the same routine if you were to select me to take care of your dog(s)! I love taking my dogs to the park, to the country, and to the beach when it's warm enough! They sure do love to play! I work a 7-3 job M-F, so my main time frames would be evenings, weekends, and lunch time walks if needed, but I would spend as much time with your dog as I can!

Haley is amazing! She welcomed Missy into her home as one of her own and provided multiple photos showing how well she fit in. Drop off and pick up were flawless, and I could tell that Missy enjoyed her stay. I look forward to Missy's next opportunity to hang out with Haley and her family!
