Pet sitting isn't just a job to me, it's my passion! There is nothing better than spending time with dogs and cats. I am an experienced caretaker: I've been dog sitting, cat sitting and even babysitting since high school. I'd love to provide excellent care--in my home or yours--for your pets. I am employed full time as a podcast producer and work full time from home which means I'll be able to give your pups as many walks as they need during the day. I love hosting and am always open to traveling to pups homes. Rates are ALWAYS negotiable. I'm very responsive so please feel free to ask any questions you may have. :) Though I don't have any pets of my own at the moment (my elderly dog just passed sadly), I lived with two cats and a German Shepherd for about two years and I loved them as my own and took care of them whenever my roommate was out of town. It reminded me once again, how pets become part of your family and how hard it is to find reliable care for them. I am experienced with both small and large dogs and am a safe, reliable and fun sitter. I'll ensure that your pet's time with me is full of playtime and love.

Pet care is a natural and joyful part of my daily routine. As someone who works full-time from home as a podcast producer, I have the flexibility to integrate pet care seamlessly into my day—whether it’s giving dogs regular walks, playtime breaks, or just being a calm presence around the house. I love starting and ending my days with outdoor time, and I make sure pets get plenty of attention, stimulation, and affection throughout. Since pet sitting is a true passion of mine, not just a side gig, I approach each pet’s needs with care and consistency. I’ve been a trusted sitter for both cats and dogs for years, and I’m used to adjusting my routine to match their energy levels—whether that means extra walks for high-energy pups or quiet cuddle time with cats. On weekends, I love visiting local parks or taking longer walks, always with your pet’s comfort and safety in mind. Simply put, pets fit into my life the same way they fit into yours: as loved, well-cared-for members of the family.

Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I aim to create a calm, loving, and safe environment that keeps them comfortable and happy. I don’t have a fenced-in yard, but I do have a small private grassy area in the back that’s perfect for quick potty breaks—especially those late-night or early-morning moments. During the day, your pup will get plenty of walks, playtime, and attention to keep them exercised and engaged. I understand that every pet (and every owner!) has their own preferences and needs. If your dog is leash reactive or you’d prefer to avoid dog parks, I will absolutely respect that. I always follow your instructions carefully and prioritize your pet’s safety above all else. I’m also very comfortable following detailed care routines—feeding schedules, medication, favorite toys or walk routes—you name it. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with respect and strive to maintain your pet’s routine as closely as possible. My goal is always to make the experience stress-free for both you and your pet, whether I'm hosting or house-sitting.
A typical day
We will go on lots of walks, explore local parks, and play with their toys. I understand that high energy dogs need to be worn out a little before the day is over. I will take them to parks and the dog park, but not too far from the house--and everywhere we go will be pre-approved by you. For cats I will pet them and hold them but also know when to back off when they're feeling fickle. If they like toys, I will play with those too!
