Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Haley based on our experience. She was very kind and personable during our meet and greet, and her communication with us throughout the stay was always friendly, so we genuinely wish we could leave a more positive review. However, what was communicated to us did not always match what was happening at our home, and there were several concerning/safety issues that we feel like pet owners should be aware of. Our dogs were left crated for extended periods of time, multiple times throughout the stay. This was especially concerning because we had provided clear instructions regarding how long our dog should be crated and had booked a house sitter specifically so our dogs would not be left alone for long periods. We also discovered that our front door was repeatedly being left unlocked when she left the house. In addition, security cameras that we use to monitor our dogs and property were moved/turned away without our permission, leaving us unable to monitor those areas of our home while we were miles away. When we raised our concerns about the cameras, we were then asked if we could find another sitter by the following night, despite the stay already being underway and us being out of town. Being put in a position where we had to worry about finding last minute care for our dogs while we were already away was incredibly stressful. We understand that sitters may need to leave the home during a house-sitting stay, and we never expected someone to remain at our house 24/7. Our concern was the frequency and length of the absences, our dogs being crated for extended periods, our home being left unlocked, our security cameras being moved without permission, and the possibility of our sitter leaving the booking after it had already begun. Based on our experience, we would not book with her again and cannot recommend her to others looking for reliable house sitting and pet care.

I cannot say enough great things about Haley! She was so patient and calm with my skittish boy, she allowed him to get comfortable at his own pace and he ended up becoming one of her biggest fans. She is a joy, professional, made sure to keep me updated and left my home in pristine condition. Gus and I will definitely book with Haley again!

Haley M. had cared for my pets plenty times in the past and current time, she’s always making sure that they are perfectly taken care of, absolutely adores and loves playing with any animal big or small she will always make sure they are fed, taken care of and always stress free, Haley is so loving to animals no matter what they might be, I would absolutely recommend her to everyone!
