TLDR: 16 + years of experience with dogs, cats and exotic animals. I work from home and go to school part time so my schedule is very flexible. Hello I am Haley! I’ve had dogs and turtles since I was a kid. I currently work from home and am a part-time student finishing my 2nd degree with a very open and flexible schedule. I enjoy petsitting all types of furry and scaley friends. I previously volunteered with a veterinary practice for several summers over the course of my teenage years and have continued to watch dogs, cats and reptiles for most of my life. I am a responsible individual who loves to play and cuddle with all different kinds of pets! I’ve pet sat for many families and individuals all throughout the Southwest Florida and Missoula, MT areas. My pet sitting has included dogs, cats, and even reptiles like turtles, lizards, and snakes. I’ve also taken care of pets with diabetes and other unfortunate ailments. I also have one dog of my own, her name is Bandit and she’s a Labrador. Additionally, I have two cats, Boo & Wallaby, and a bearded dragon named Henry. I love having one on one time with them and letting them have lots of exercise. NOTES: I am currently only able to do house sits that are the equivalent of a long weekend (3-4 days). Sometimes my husband joins me on walks and check-in visits. He’s a huge animal lover too and only joins me for walks and short visits. Nothing more! I’ve always tried to be reasonably priced, but unfortunately I’ve had to increase my rate quite a bit. I hope you can understand. Thank you! My prices are as is, I do not charge per extra pet, I charge per visit/session for all animals. ADDITIONAL NOTE: Rover takes a percentage of my service charge. EX: I have house sitting at $70 but Rover shows it as being $78. I also do have multiple years of experience with exotic animals such as reptiles, birds, and more! ADDITIONAL ADDITIONAL NOTE: I will now be adding an SMALL additional $5 charge for any pet (mainly dogs) that are more unruly on walks or behaviorally in general. I have noticed a severe uptick in dogs not being well trained on leashes and react poorly to commands or seeing other animals. I more than understand this can just happen with even the best trained animals. So I will only be adding this extra fee if it’s constant, as in I am being yanked around every second of the walk or I have to be constantly on guard every second. This is not something I will be adding lightly or without your proper knowledge beforehand. I hope you can understand. Again, I will only add this in the most extreme of cases. I have been unfortunately injured by a pet recently which is why I’m adding this fee.
