Boarding (In My Home): When dogs stay in my home, I focus on creating a calm, structured, and welcoming environment where they feel safe and settled. I begin with one-on-one introductions between your dog and mine to ensure comfort and compatibility. If multiple client dogs are scheduled, I coordinate gradual, supervised introductions to reduce stress and support positive interactions. Care is always individualized. I follow each dog’s established routines for feeding, exercise, rest, and medication, paying close attention to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being. My experience with senior dogs and dogs needing medication or mobility support allows me to provide attentive, compassionate care throughout their stay. Dogs are treated as part of the household—not a kennel environment—with access to comfortable rest areas, appropriate activity, and consistent supervision. I intentionally keep care structured and low-stress, which is especially beneficial for longer stays and repeat visits. Dog Walking: When caring for dogs through walking services, safety, consistency, and individualized attention are my top priorities. Before our first walk, I take time to understand each dog’s routine, energy level, temperament, and any medical or mobility considerations. Walks are always tailored—whether that means structured exercise for higher-energy dogs or slower, gentle strolls for senior dogs. I use secure leashing practices at all times and remain fully attentive to surroundings, body language, and pacing throughout the walk. With over 20 years of experience, including caring for senior dogs and those requiring medication or special handling, I’m attentive to signs of fatigue, discomfort, or stress and adjust accordingly. Each walk is designed to be both physically beneficial and mentally calming. Drop-In Visits: For drop-in visits, I provide dependable, attentive care that keeps pets comfortable and routines uninterrupted while owners are away. Each visit is tailored to your pet’s specific needs and includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, light exercise or play, medication administration if required, and companionship. I take time to observe behavior, energy levels, and overall condition during each visit, which is especially important for senior dogs or pets with medical needs. I ensure the home environment remains safe and calm and always follow care instructions closely to maintain consistency. With extensive experience and a strong attention to detail, my goal during drop-ins is to ensure pets feel secure, cared for, and relaxed until their family returns.

Fun, enrichment, and engagement are a regular part of each day, always tailored to the individual dog. After morning potty breaks and breakfast, we enjoy supervised playtime, where I’m actively involved—whether that’s tossing toys, gentle games in the yard, or working on basic commands like sit, stay, heel, or shake-a-paw. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical activity, and I adjust play based on each dog’s age, energy level, and comfort. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy structured enrichment activities, such as puzzle toys, scent work, and calm interactive play. Later on, we head out for a 30–60 minute walk, depending on the dog’s needs, leash manners, size, and stamina. Walks are always individualized—some dogs enjoy a brisk pace and exploration, while others prefer slower, more relaxed strolls. For senior dogs or those with medical or mobility considerations, activities are intentionally gentle and low-stress. This may include short walks, light play, enrichment games, and plenty of cozy downtime. Quiet rest areas are always available so dogs can relax and recharge when they need to. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or prefers a calmer pace with enrichment and affection, activities are always designed to keep them happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
